"Red Dress in the Desert" is a song written by Erqiang, composed by Daolang, and sung by Shenyang Daolang.

Lyrics:

Red clothes rub into the desert

The yellow sand is no longer lonely

You listen to the camel bells ringing on the Silk Road

Come and soothe this loneliness

You said you have a destiny with the Buddha

Be pious in front of the Bodhisattva

Pray that you can meet a good match in this life

Silently keeping my long-cherished wish

Remember the sunset over the long river

The slowly rising solitary smoke

That is my burning longing for you< /p>

Flying for a thousand years

The wind couldn’t bear to blow it away

Just to see your face in this life

Once I was in Mogao In front of the cave

I have prayed to Bodhisattva a thousand times

She said that my thoughts in this mortal world will last for a thousand years

I quietly Turn into a lonely goose

Waiting for your appearance in this life

Extended information: Daolang’s real name is Luo Lin. He came to Neijiang from Zizhong County at the age of 17 before he graduated from high school (Zizhong No. 1 Middle School). I learned keyboard instruments in a karaoke hall, and two years later I went to Chengdu, Chongqing, Tibet, and Xi'an, where I worked as a stall owner for more than four years. Later, while singing in concert halls in Neijiang and Chengdu, he formed the band "Scalpel", with Bashu comedian Liao Jian as the lead singer and he as the keyboard player.

From 1991 to 1995, when Daolang was singing in Hainan, he formed the band "Sons of the Earth" with several musicians, and he was still the keyboard player. The keyboard was somewhat famous in Hainan at that time, but the band was later disbanded due to the pressure of life. In Hainan, I met Xiao Zhu, a girl from Xinjiang. In 1995, I followed her to Xinjiang and established the Northwest Music Studio, beginning my close contact with Xinjiang folk music.

From 1995 to 2004, he served as the music director of Xinjiang Deweilong Audio and Video Company and the chief producer of Urumqi Luolin Music Creation Studio. He has independently produced records such as "Xinjiang Original First Hit", "Love Song of the Western Regions", "Desert Love Song", "Soul of Silk Road Music", "Silk Road Music" and "Music Chapter of Entering Xinjiang".

The musical work "Pearl of the West" by Urumqi TV won the China Music Television Bronze Award, and the music TV "Volunteer" co-operated with the Urumqi Municipal Committee of the *** Youth League and Urumqi TV won the "Five-Year Award" of the *** Youth League Central Committee One Project" Award.

In 2001, an album of pop and fashion music was released, but it only sold more than 2,000 copies. After the failure, he visited the library every day, went to the Gobi Desert, and visited the homes of Uyghur people to collect news.

With the successful launch of CDs such as "Soul of the Silk Road" and "Love Songs of the Western Regions", Daolang's personal packaging needs have become increasingly important in the face of the requirement to integrate with the national market. With the consent of Daolang himself, since the planning of the CD "Love Songs of the Western Regions", he began to use the name "Daolang" to face the majority of fans.
