The Master explains: "All living beings have Buddha nature" What does it mean?

All sentient beings, the meaning of Buddha-nature:

Today I will tell you about the fullness of Buddha-nature. Everyone possesses Buddha-nature. What is Buddha nature? Buddha nature is a kind of human nature, which is conscience and wisdom. When a person has nature and conscience, he will have another kind of good nature, which is Buddha nature. Buddha nature is the Mani Pearl that is already present in your body and in your nature. It is a kind of compassion and kindness, and it is a profound artistic conception that transcends the human realm. Bodhisattva has long said that everyone possesses Buddha nature, and Buddha nature is already present in everyone's heart.

When a person has thoughts and gestures, his true nature is actually revealed. That is to say, every thought you have and every action you have represent your inner nature. Many people make very unsightly actions, many people make some very uncomfortable actions, many people think of bad things in their minds, and their faces will turn red immediately. These are all natural feelings transmitted from the inside out. They are all things that come out of your nature. Since we want to cultivate to reveal the nature of Buddha, we must truly understand compassion and save sentient beings in every word, action, and thought.

You must understand that if you look at everything in the world with the mind of Buddha and Bodhisattva, you will get a lot of feedback from the mind of Buddha and Bodhisattva. Whether a person behaves like a Bodhisattva or not is all your own doing. Master usually teaches you some relatively superficial Buddhist principles. Do you know the real Buddhist teachings? I hope you will understand that when you see everything in the world, you must see it with the eyes of a Bodhisattva. If you see it with the eyes of a mortal, all you will see are things in the world, and you will not be able to see anything clearly. Wisdom does not mean that you can see it with your eyes. Wisdom is a conceptual idea converted from ideology. That is to say, when you form an opinion on a certain thing, in fact, you have already understood it. This matter formed a specific concept. Master's lectures are very profound. I hope you will listen carefully and understand them well. To become a good Buddhist disciple and a good disciple, you must receive formal Buddhist education.

Every time we open and close our eyes, we must always remind ourselves: "Am I sufficient for my nature?" When we open our eyes and look at others, we must see their compassion and kindness. On the other hand, when you see people are pitiful, don't make trouble with them; when you close your eyes, you have to think of your own responsibilities. Do I look like a Bodhisattva? I have done these things today, are they worthy of Bodhisattva? Therefore, the opening and closing of the eyes is to always focus on the Buddha nature, the nature of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. If a person does not have the nature of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, everything this person sees will be from the perspective of the human world, and he will never be able to see the realm of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. A person can become a Buddha or a Bodhisattva because he has the realm of a Buddha or a Bodhisattva. Therefore, when you close and open your eyes, you must always remind yourself: "Am I a Bodhisattva? How do I see people?" If you see The shortcomings of others indicate that there are shortcomings in your heart; if you see the advantages of others, it is because you always have charity in your heart.

In fact, life is the embodiment of Buddha nature. As we live together today, we will have Buddha nature. So how is Buddha nature manifested? Putting your hands together is a reflection, being kind to others is a reflection, helping others is a reflection, and all words and deeds are a reflection. People say you are like a Buddha or a Bodhisattva. It is because many of your actions and thoughts make others feel the compassion and care of a Buddha and a Bodhisattva. Therefore, as long as you persist, you will become a Buddha and a Bodhisattva.

We must understand that we cannot use Buddha nature every day without knowing the existence of Buddha nature. What does this mean? I use my Buddha nature every day, but I can't find it. You use your watch every day. After a long time, sometimes you don’t feel like wearing a watch, and you don’t even know it. Glasses that we use every day, sometimes we can’t feel whether we wear them or not. Some people don’t even know that they are wearing glasses.

We use Buddhism every day, but we don’t know how to learn Buddhism. Is compassion and saving people a Buddha? Is it a Buddha to be kind to others every day? Is it a Buddha to say nice things about others every day? To study Buddhism is to understand these principles.

Master has told you a long time ago that a person must persevere in the long river of life to practice according to the Tathagata's Prajna. What does this sentence mean? First of all, we must learn to persevere. Persistence means perseverance. If a person learns Buddhism and does not know how to persevere, he will lose the Dharma. To learn Buddhism, we must practice it according to the Tathagata's Prajna, which means constantly knowing how to use wisdom in life. It is impossible not to use wisdom. People living in this world can't do anything without wisdom.

No matter what happens in life, a person must use wisdom. What is wisdom? Wisdom is an extraordinary brain IQ ability. It is the ability to control you to overcome various difficulties in the world. These control abilities are the wisdom you have. People who can solve problems actually have this kind of wisdom. . If something comes up and you don’t know how to solve it, you don’t have the ability. Master told his disciples that we often encounter many things and often solve them. We must understand them in life and know whether this is right or wrong. Do I have the wisdom to do this today? All these require Possess the wisdom of Buddha and Bodhisattva. For example, if there is a quarrel at home, you can use the wisdom of a Bodhisattva to know that my karma has come, so I have to overcome it and recite sutras well. I cannot quarrel with him so persistently. Will a Bodhisattva quarrel? Would Guanshiyin Bodhisattva be like this? By thinking this way, you will gain wisdom and you will be able to overcome this quarrel problem.

To learn Buddhism, you need to use convenience and wisdom wonderfully. What is magical use? Just for different people, you have to use different methods and wisdom to solve problems. The magical effect is to use these convenience methods very cleverly. For example, you have a good relationship with him today and you are willing to save him. This is the wonderful use of convenience. What is this wisdom? It’s a method that people should have but haven’t yet. If you can’t think of a method, you don’t have wisdom. If you think of a method, you have wisdom, but the method you think of can solve the problem is called wisdom. If you think of a method, Letting this matter get worse and worse is not wisdom.

I must use all my compassion to help others, that is to say, I must find out all my kind heart today and use it up. What is mental strength? Mental power is a kind of power in a person's heart. If this person is willing to help others, he must be selfless, and he must help selflessly. Master often says that it is right to help others and let others benefit. At the same time, what do you gain from others' benefit? For example, if you get money or benefits, people will be grateful to you because of your help, and people will naturally be grateful to you. It is not the case that you have selfish motives and want others to repay you before you do it, because you are Only when you give selflessly and selflessly will your heart be filled with strength.
