New folk music is a domestic concept. To put it bluntly, it is a combination of Chinese and Western elements. Traditional Chinese national music elements are combined with Western and European music arrangements to make it more popular and people-friendly.

These three styles have no fixed patterns and routines, so they are not so clear and easy to distinguish, and many of them draw on other root styles, such as jazz, rock, electronic, folk, etc.
