If you study music and want to be a teacher, you need to take the teacher qualification certificate. Personnel who meet the following basic conditions can register for the teacher qualification examination:

(1) Have the nationality of the People's Republic of China;

(2) Abide by the constitution and laws, and love education, and have good ideological and moral character;

(3) Meet the physical examination standards for applying for recognition of teacher qualifications;

(4) Meet the academic requirements stipulated in the "Teachers Law".

Students in the third grade or above of ordinary colleges and universities can apply with the certificate of enrollment issued by the school. Applicants should register for the teacher qualification examination in the place where their household registration or personnel relations are located. Students in ordinary colleges and universities can register to take the teacher qualification examination at the location of their school.

Passing the teacher qualification examination is a prerequisite for admission to the teaching profession. Those who apply for the qualifications of teachers in kindergartens, primary schools, junior high schools, ordinary senior high schools, secondary vocational schools and secondary vocational school internship instructors must take the corresponding teacher qualification examinations respectively.

The teacher qualification examination shall be implemented as a unified national examination. The examination adheres to the education-oriented, ability-oriented, practice-oriented and professional-oriented principles, and adheres to the principles of science, fairness, safety and standardization.
