Character experience

Mr. Fang Rengong is a famous Chinese super teacher in China and an educator with extensive influence in Shanghai. 1986, president of Shibei Middle School. 1999 After his retirement, he was named honorary principal of Shibei Middle School by the Municipal Education Commission. So far, he has won the honorary titles of "People's Teacher Medal", "Excellent Principal of Shanghai Primary and Secondary Schools" and "National Model Worker of Education System". During his tenure, Mr. Fang Rengong decided to guide students to "climb the shoulders of giants" as the goal of running a school and pay attention to cultivating students' self-awareness. He put forward the "543 1" project to cultivate five styles, strengthen four qualities, improve three abilities and develop a specialty, namely, enterprising spirit, diligent attitude, strict norms, reasonable methods and good habits; Ideological and political quality, cultural quality, physical quality and psychological quality; Self-study ability, self-forging ability and self-management ability; Specializing in many skills means that while paying attention to the all-round development of morality, intelligence and physique, you can "advance" in a certain subject and skill. 1996 put forward the requirement of "doing ordinary things and cultivating lofty spirit" in the autumn, and carried out the "four ones" off-campus service activities, that is, doing one practical thing for the family every day, doing one good thing for the lane every week, participating in street community activities once a month, and carrying out urban social practice once a semester. The "Four Ones" activity further promoted students' social practice from point to surface, from plane to three-dimensional, from scattered to systematic, and formed a relatively complete operating mechanism of off-campus education practice, which is still the key work feature and main grasper of Shude education in Shibei Middle School. These solid reform measures, which evolved from education and teaching ideas, have always had an important impact on the development of Shibei Middle School, and also laid the position of Shibei Middle School in Shanghai's basic education. Mr. Fang Rengong also wrote "Teacher Fang teaches composition-it's not difficult to write", "Middle School Students' Heart", "Lecture Hall for Middle School Students' Writing Skills" and "Special-grade Teachers Tell You the Mystery of Writing Well", and published Picking up Fragments of Memories, Pursuing the Spiritual Height of Reading, Shaking Hands with Young Friends, Opening the Secret of Writing Success and Searching on the 50th anniversary of his teaching.

biography

Fang Rengong said humorously to me, "Confucius is forty but not confused." He is a saint, and my generation is an ordinary person. If only he could be fifty years old and not be confused. Although I am close to the age of "doing whatever I want", my teaching experience is only fifty, and I sincerely hope to get your help. "This is Mr. Fang's consistent style. He is conscientious, low-key and modest, and has a very good reputation in the education field in Shanghai, which is deeply loved by the majority of young and middle-aged Chinese teachers. As the ancients said, "If you love more, you can win many people. ".

As early as the late 1970s, I naively dreamed of becoming an "educator". At that time, I was writing an article in the Chinese teaching and research section of Zhejiang Normal University, and I often ran into Mr. Fang in publications. His article on composition teaching aroused my interest and gave me a lot of inspiration. I was eager to get to know him and get guidance, so I took the liberty of writing to him for advice. I finally met him in a teaching and research activity in Zhabei District. He said slowly and affably, "Your article is well written and thoughtful. I didn't expect you to be so young. Read more books when you have the opportunity. " With the encouragement of Mr. Fang, I wrote a book with a large circulation at that time, "Picking pearls from a sea of poems-Notes on Ancient Poetry". By writing this book, I have read many ancient poems and broadened my horizons, which is of great benefit to my future academic research on ancient ceramics.

Mr Fang is the editorial board of our new reading and writing magazine. He is very enthusiastic about magazine editing and often helps us with ideas. I'm grateful for that. His composition teaching is very unique and has a certain influence in China. After his inspiration, the students couldn't help falling in love with writing. He advocated "writing 900 seconds a day" in Shibei Middle School, and did not require students to write a "composition" seriously, nor did they require writing an exam-oriented composition modeled after the "model" of the senior high school entrance examination. He did whatever he wanted, but the effect was very obvious. Over time, practice makes perfect, which is not only conducive to tempering ideas and training language expression, but also conducive to "taking exams." This method is worth popularizing. In the first issue of "New Reading and Writing", the inviting teacher wrote a guiding article of "Writing for 900 seconds a day" and eight student exercises. After the article was published, it was welcomed by readers.

Mr. Fang has a special liking for children's literature creation, and he can make historical stories superb. He wrote a book reflecting the adolescence of ancient writers in China, taking into account the historical truth and artistic truth. As a writer, he has a sense of responsibility. As a teacher, he has a sense of mission, that is, he is not kitsch, vulgar, silent and noble. He uses the literary style of fairy tales to show the truth of life in illusory plots, reveals the struggle between truth, goodness, beauty and falsehood, ugliness and ugliness with bold exaggeration and imagination, and praises the enterprising spirit, virtue and conduct of human beings.

Mr. Fang is a wise man. He devoted himself to life and created it. He is satisfied with everything in front of him. He still teaches his writing class every day, still writes his favorite articles, and takes it as the basis for calming down and enjoying. How many people in the world can really be as "fifty without confusion" as Mr. Fang?

Reflections on composition teaching

Fang Rengong published in "Chinese Teaching Reference" in 2000, and advocated hierarchical teaching, teaching students in accordance with their aptitude, paying attention to local training, and showing everything from point to point.

Fang Rengong believes that the way to express his feelings is nothing more than discussion, explanation, description, narration and expression of feelings, and small-scale decomposition training is helpful for classroom operation.
