The problems existing in the development of Daxing Shan Temple are as follows: ① The strong commercial atmosphere around the temple is extremely uncoordinated with the development of the temple; (2) The disorderly planning and construction caused the building congestion on the central axis of the temple; (3) The religious teaching staff are aging, the educational administration construction is backward, and there is a lack of high-level Tantric experts, Buddhist management talents and international exchange talents; ④ The development depth of religious tourism is not enough, and the tourism products are relatively single, which fails to reflect the tantric characteristics and the "added value" of the products is low. These problems are not in harmony with its historical position and social development requirements. By comparing, analyzing and summarizing the relevant development experience and reflecting lessons, this paper puts forward the appropriate model and countermeasures for the sustainable development of Daxing Shan Temple from four aspects: ① Purifying and cleaning the surrounding environment of the temple to solve the problem of insufficient land for temple development; (2) Optimize and integrate the functional structure system of temples, and improve the corresponding infrastructure and supporting facilities; (3) pay attention to the innovation of temple organization and management mode, and strengthen the cultivation of talents needed for the construction of monk groups and the development of temples; Fourthly, develop religious tourism moderately, establish and improve the tourism product system of Daxing Shan Temple closely related to tantric characteristics, and increase the added value of tourism products. Finally, the measures and suggestions for the development of Daxing Temple are given to guide the development and planning of the temple and promote the rapid, healthy and coordinated development of Daxing Temple. It also has certain reference value and significance for the development research of other similar Buddhist temples in Xi 'an and even the whole country.
