Where is Fayun Temple in Qinhuangdao?
Fayun Temple in Qinhuangdao is a cultural tourist attraction.

Fayun Temple was built in Wanli period of Ming Dynasty. After the Ming, Qing and the Republic of China, all ten parties praised it and its Buddhism flourished. For hundreds of years, the morning bell and dusk drum of Fayun Temple have been ringing on the coast of Bohai Sea, and smoke and clouds have circled the southern foot of the Great Wall. It has a long history, magnificent architecture and large scale. This is a famous ancient temple. Due to the long history and wind and rain, the former site of Cang Sang no longer exists.

In order to "repair the ancient temple of Fayun Temple and promote Buddhist culture", Fayun Temple will be rebuilt with the blessing of ten Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Its new site is located 0.5km north of Xindianzi Village, Haigang District, Qin Huang. It is a hillside highland surrounded by mountains and waters, located on the "Long Mai" extending eastward from China, which makes Fayun Temple even more magical. He is close to Beidaihe Beach, a scenic tourist resort. Standing in the new site of Fayun Temple, looking south, there are blue sea and white clouds, birds dancing in the sand, mountains, lights and sails. The north is connected with the peak mountain, and the back is backed by the continuous Yanshan Mountains. The temple is surrounded by green forests and the mountain breeze is blowing gently. There is also a newly-built nine-story crystal pagoda unique in the world, which is really a rare Buddhist shrine.

Under the careful design and organization of master Shengqing, the first phase of the project, the Ursa Major Hall, the Tianwang Hall, the Bell Tower, the Drum Tower and the Sengliao Hall, was completed in June 2006, and the inauguration ceremony of the Ursa Major Hall was held in April 2007. The second phase of the project, the glass tower, the ten thousand Buddha building, the Dizang King Hall, three temples, the mountain gate, the office building and the Buddha chanting hall, are under construction. It is planned to be completed in 2007, adding a beautiful scenery to welcome the 2008 Olympic Games.

This is the blessing of Buddhism. I only hope that the ten parties will be virtuous, honest and happy. They will worship Buddha treasures, plant blessings and increase their wisdom. In order to shape the Buddha's golden body and strengthen the Dojo for fearless charity, their merits are boundless.
