Wenfeng Pagoda is modeled after a pagoda. Because the pagoda built a temple, it is called "Five Blessingg Temple". According to legend, when the temple was built, five big bats as big as wheels appeared. There is also a legend that five red bats nest on Wenfeng Tower, so this tower is named Five Blessingg Temple, which is another myth. Years have eroded, and Five Blessingg Temple has long been destroyed, while Wenfeng Pagoda has been preserved after several repairs. Gu Song in the Six Dynasties Hospital is the most authoritative witness to all this. Wenfeng Pagoda was overhauled in the 25th year of Jiaqing in Qing Dynasty (1820), and the last meal repair dates back to 1970s, when only a small-scale emergency repair was carried out. In the past 30 years, the main structure of Wenfeng Tower is not bad, but the roof and railings are damaged, and many birds nest in it, which also has a certain impact on the protection of the tower. After two renovations after the founding of the People's Republic of China, it glowed with youthful brilliance. It is the largest existing geomantic architecture in our city, and now it is a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit in Nantong. Climbing high and overlooking the whole city of Nantong, Wenfeng Tower is a quadrangle-style building, where the Municipal Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Painting and Calligraphy Institute and the Art Museum are all located. In the past ten years, a distinctive quadrangle-style building called Wenfeng Tower has been added around Wenfeng. In September, 2005, Nantong Museum Centennial Celebration and China Museum Centennial Celebration were held in Nantong. Therefore, the municipal government specially allocated 6.5438+0 million yuan to carry out large-scale maintenance of Wenfeng Pagoda, a cultural relic of the Ming Dynasty, to reproduce its majestic appearance. The lighting project of Wenfeng Tower is designed according to the architectural and structural characteristics of the tower, which is divided into three parts: roof lighting, cornice corner lighting and wall lighting. Among them, the top roof is illuminated by white projection lamps installed on the eaves between the two corners, and the roof of the lower floor is illuminated by white projection lamps installed at the bottom of the front railing. The eaves and corners of each floor are illuminated by yellow corner lights installed on the forehead of this floor. The whole lighting project is brought into the centralized lighting control system of Haohe Scenic Area, and Wenfeng Tower will also become the most beautiful scenery in the southeast of Haohe River. Now, overlooking the tower, the Haohe River is sparkling, and the streets are bustling, lifelike and refreshing. Left: Newly renovated Wenfeng Tower.
