1. Guiding ideology:
With the aim of cultivating primary school students' scientific literacy, we actively advocate that students experience inquiry-based learning activities, cultivate their curiosity and desire to explore, develop their understanding of the nature of science, enable them to learn strategies to explore and solve problems, and lay a good foundation for their lifelong study and life.
Second, teaching material analysis:
The first science class in the third grade is the beginning semester for primary school students to learn science. Taking full account of the age characteristics of Grade Three students, this textbook is close to the actual life of students in the content selection. This textbook is divided into seven units: Walking into Science, Animals and Plants Around us, Soil, Wonderful Water, Air, Various Materials, We Learn to Observe
1. Walking into Science uses a main activity "Treasure Hunting on Campus" in this unit. Taking "treasure" (natural objects found by students according to "treasure list") as the research object, in the order of "seeking", "observing" and "tidying up", three lessons are designed in turn, trying to make students learn observation and tidying up treasure boxes under the guidance of the history of science.
2. "Animals and plants around us" This unit is about life science, so that students can know different kinds of animals and plants in different environments. This unit takes the typical characteristics of common animals and plants as a clue to guide students to observe plants and animals, learn to classify and classify, and at the same time infiltrate the emotional attitude education of caring for life and daring to question.
3. This unit of Soil is based on "What's in the soil?" "Why can crops grow in the soil?" As a starting point, guide students to understand the composition of soil, understand the role of soil for human beings, realize the importance of soil protection, and take the initiative to participate in the action of soil protection. From the training of inquiry ability, this unit, like other units in Grade Three, focuses on the ability to observe, classify, compare and ask questions, taking into account the cultivation of other inquiry abilities.
4. Based on students' existing knowledge and experience, this unit of teaching material "Wonderful Water" guides students to observe and study the familiar "water", observe the shape of water, measure the volume of water, understand the ups and downs of objects in water, explore the power of "flowing water", study the dissolution of objects in water, understand the existence and forms of water in nature, and so on, so that children can understand the nature of water in many ways. The deeper children know about water, the more wonderful it is, the more precious it will be from the bottom of their hearts, and they will consciously have the consciousness of cherishing every drop of water, protecting water resources and protecting the environment.
5. Air This unit arranges four lessons: ambient air, flowing air, compressed air and dust in the air, and organizes teaching in the order of "finding air → observing and studying air → protecting air". The study of "Dust in the Air" mainly lets students know that the air is impure and contains dust and other impurities. The more polluted the air is, the more impurities it contains. Children should be educated to protect the environment and keep the air clean.
6. "Various Materials" This textbook tries to make students understand that different items are made of different materials by analyzing the materials used to make several common items in life. There are all kinds of items around us, and the materials that make them are also various and varied. On this basis, let students further understand that materials can be divided into natural materials and artificial materials. In the study of different materials, make students realize that different materials have different characteristics.
7. This unit * * designed two lessons: "I learned to observe" and "I can succeed by doing it myself scientifically". In the first lesson, students were guided by watermelons, and how to do observation well was comprehensively summarized, so that students could have a more comprehensive and updated understanding of observation. This is "review". Then, in the course of "I can succeed if I do it by myself", I will "practice again" on the basis of summing up and take the route of "practice-understanding-practice again". In this lesson, students will flexibly use various methods to observe and study rocks.
Third, teaching measures:
1. First, it is most important to strengthen the training of teachers' own basic skills in science teaching. At ordinary times, we should make full use of our spare time, study science curriculum standards and science textbooks seriously, and study science teaching law seriously to become a qualified science teacher as soon as possible.
2. Create a democratic, harmonious and open teaching atmosphere in the classroom as far as possible in combination with the specific conditions of the classes and students taught.
3. Make full use of the school's science laboratory, attend classes in the science laboratory as much as possible, so as to achieve "intensive lectures and more practice", and guide students to discover and solve problems by themselves through experiments, so as to gain gains.
4. Pay attention to the study of students' extracurricular expansion, not only in classroom teaching, but also take students out of the classroom, go to nature and society, and extend the study of science lessons from classroom to activity courses and to family and society.
