2. Xiang Sihua
Xiang Sihua was born in Shanghai in 1940. He specialized in piano in his early years. He later studied under the famous Zhejiang zheng master Wang Xunzhi, and also learned other genres of zheng from Cao Zheng and Guo Ying. In 1954, he was admitted to the High School Affiliated to Shanghai Conservatory of Music to study piano. She switched to guzheng in 1958 and was admitted to the guzheng major of the Folk Music Department of Shanghai Conservatory of Music in 1961. In July 1992, she immigrated to Canada and founded the "Fan Shang'e Guzheng Academy".
