In winter, when it gets dark, she gets up to check the dormitory, and waits until all the children have gone to bed before resting. She insisted on going to the dormitories every day, lighting mosquito coils in each dormitory, and checking whether the children had any difficulties in their lives. There were many times when she woke up with numb hands and pain in her neck, but looking at the innocent sleeping postures of her children, she would smile every time, feeling sincerely relieved.

In 2012, the class led by Teacher Wang Xiaoping won the honorary title of Tonglu County Outstanding Class Collective. The following year, the class was rated as an outstanding class in Hangzhou. She herself also won the honorary title of Outstanding Class Teacher in Tonglu County.
