Background on the creation of Wild Grass:
"Wild Grass" was co-produced by Bai Jugang and An Xiaonan. When arranging the music, Bai Jugang first arranged the music himself, and then discussed the arrangement with An Xiaonan. Modify until you achieve satisfactory results. All 8 songs in the album were composed by Bai Jugang.
During the song selection stage of the album, Bai Jugang selected 8 works from the 100 works he created and included them in the album. Record company staff suggested that Bai Jugang create popular music, but Bai Jugang wanted to make music down to earth and still insisted on his own music ideas.
Bai Jugang believes that weeds can take root and grow tenaciously no matter where they are, which is similar to his musical attitude, so he named the album "Weeds". Bai Jugang divided the album into three themes: "Liaoyuan", "Safety" and "Happy Ending", expressing his attitude towards music at different levels.

The idea for the album's title song "Three Seasons" originated in the summer and was completed in the autumn. Bai Jugang wrote the beginning of "Three Seasons" in the summer, but put it aside because he had no inspiration. One day in autumn, Bai Jugang was inspired to create "Three Seasons" when he saw the fallen leaves all over the courtyard in the community where he lived.
The cover photo of the album uses green as the main color and white as the background color. It uses simple lines to express Bai Jugang's tenacious musical attitude like a weed.
