Of course the music system it comes with needs to be upgraded! I found the upgrade steps as follows:

Upgrade process:

1) Copy the Flyme 2.0.5 system firmware to the root directory of the memory card - shut down - press power and volume up key to upgrade the system;

2) After success, it will automatically boot into the system;

3) Enter Settings - About the phone and check that the software version is Flyme 2.0.5, indicating that the firmware upgrade is successful.
