Xilina Yigao participated in The Voice of China twice, namely the revised "China's New Singing Season 1" in 2016 and "China's New Singing Season 2" in 2017.

In 2016, he participated in the Zhejiang Satellite TV singing talent show "China's New Singing Season 1" and became one of the top five local auditions in Singapore. He also went to China to participate in the blind audition, but failed. In 2017, he participated in "China's New Singing Season 2" again, sang the song "Unparalleled Beauty" in the blind audition, and joined the Na Ying group, and finally won the runner-up in the Na Ying group.

Before his debut, his first solo EP "Can't Stop" was released by Gulu Culture on June 28.
