Chang'an Campus. The Conservatory of Music was formerly known as the Shaanxi Institute of Education Music, which was established in July 1996. In April 2019, the Conservatory of Music was established on the basis of the original organizational structure. It is located on West Chang'an Street, Chang'an District, Xi'an, on the Chang'an campus of the college. Shaanxi Preschool Normal College, referred to as "Shaanxi Normal University", is located in the ancient capital of Xi'an. It is a full-time public provincial undergraduate university sponsored by the Shaanxi Provincial People's Government.
