The first vocalist: Tarja Turunen
Leaved Nightwish in 2005
About Tarja leaving the band:
Tarja accused the male musician of Their accusations had no basis in fact; Jukka was furious. "If she wants to deny the accusation, she can argue that we exaggerated the facts in the letter and so on, but not a single word in the letter is false and most of it can be proven with emails and other materials," Jukka said. Tuomas regrets that Tarja failed to understand the real reasons for this decision, “Tarja did not participate in band rehearsals during the last year, did not participate in writing, did not agree to be interviewed, these were not big problems for us. Despite these problems, Things were still going great, but Tarja never seemed to realize her true position in the band, and she would have been much more humble, it seemed. Regret their decision, no one even regrets the way they fired Tarja. "We did the right thing without thinking about the consequences," Marco concluded at the end of the year. "We should be proud of having the guts to make such a decision. If we just shut up and made an album with Tarja as the lead singer, We'd probably still get crazy sales, but luckily we realized that would be a slow death for the whole band."
I wanted to hand her the letter and say, face to face. There was no other way to fire her," Jukka said. "At first, she and Marcelo (Tarja's wealthy businessman husband) were informed of the decision, but we ended up taking a different approach because the show ended in 18 hours. The tour was a success, and Tarja was very happy, so the four of us would have been complete assholes if we told her the news right away, so you can imagine the headlines though. It's a cowardly solution, or we should wait a few more days, but they should understand the fact that we don't know when Tarja will go to Argentina. We certainly hope that all the members will be present at the Hartwall Arena when we send her the letter. "We also thought that if fans came home from the show and the first news they saw online was that someone had been fired. It didn't feel good," Jukka continued, "so we decided to wait a while. We still felt we had to post the letter online for everyone to see, because if we just announced that Tarja had 'different musical opinions' or something. The media will dig deep to dig out the truth. Now everyone can read the reason for the dismissal from the letter. After reading it, no one needs to guess whether Tarja was fired or left voluntarily. ." Skeptical people may also wonder if the band is doing this to preemptively kick Tarja away before she turns her back on Nightwish. Jukka denies this. "That's not the case. Tarja feels like she's being kind by devoting her time to us making another album; it just shows a lack of respect for her teammates. If she continues to say, 'Take some time to work on my personal career, it feels good to make music that I truly love' and so on, and we certainly can't allow her to make money off her next Nightwish album and subsequent big concerts, and judging by what she and her manager are doing, they are. There's no reason to stay in a group as good as Nightwish, and it's time for us to tell her that. We've been hiding our anger for too long and just want to let it out as soon as possible.
Tarja seems to be unable to continue. She wasn't that sad about staying at Nightwish, after all, she had informed the band twice that she wanted to leave; but she did feel bad about the way she was fired, and when speaking about it at a press conference, she lost her voice Crying.
At the end of the press conference, Tarja thanked Nightwish for what they have given her over the years, saying, “The life of the band and myself will go on. To me, Nightwish has always meant the incredible music we create together. We successfully brought this Finnish band abroad. The five of us achieved this feat together. I personally believe that Nightwish is more than just one man's dream or a rock band with a classical singer. I think it's the culmination of a collective struggle for all of us. When I think about these years, I think not of pain, but of joy. In my mind, these years have been a valuable and fulfilling experience. It gave me the possibility to become a singer, to fully develop myself, to meet people from all over the world, and to perform in my own world in the future. That's what I have Nightwish to thank for. ” Tarja’s point about Nightwish being “the culmination of a collective struggle that we all share” is clever and beautiful.
Unfortunately, her words and actions elsewhere indicate that she doesn't see Nightwish from "our" perspective. However, the weirdest thing at the press conference was that Marcelo sat there with a livid face and listened to the simultaneous interpretation of Tarja's speech through headphones. Was he afraid that Tarja would say something that was not allowed?
The above content is quoted from Nightwish's autobiography "Once upon Nightwish"
Although Tarja's reply in the open letter was very peaceful, she continued to attack Nightwish in her subsequent solo albums It's really disappointing.

Modern Acting Vocalist: Floor Jansen
Birthday: 1981.2.21
Birthplace: Goirle, Netherlands
Music background:
Floor Jansen is a Finnish soprano singer. She was the lead singer of the symphonic metal band After Forver (hereinafter referred to as AF), which was disbanded in 2009. Currently, He is the lead singer of ReVamp and Nightwish. She is also a member of the heavenly group Star One. In 1997, Jansen joined Apocalyse (the early name of AF) when he was sixteen years old. Three years later the band released their debut album Prison of Desire. Floor's vocals, which can easily blend between classical and rock, have made her famous in the metal industry. Since Mark Jansen left AF in 2002, she has been solely responsible for the writing of AF's lyrics and main themes. Until the album Decipher, the two were jointly responsible for the creation. Floor can play guitar, piano, and flute, has completed several years of music studies, and has a dramatic soprano singing voice. Dutch multi-instrumentalist composer Arjen Anthony Lucassen has invited Floor as a guest vocalist on three of his albums. She sang a song in Universal Migrator Part 1: The Dream Sequencer, contributed a lot to the Star One project, and played the role of Ω in Ayreon's album 01011001.
She is the sister of Ayreon's guest vocalist Irene Jansen, who performed "Passion" on The Human Equation. Floor is also a guest musician for the metal band Nightmare.
Because AF's bandmate Sander Gommans felt tired, the band took a year's rest and returned to work in 2008, but finally announced its disbandment in February 2009. On June 16, 2009, floor jansen announced that she had formed a new band called ReVamp, which would release its first album in 2010.
After Anette Olzon left the band, Floor Jansen became Nightwish's acting vocalist, replacing Anette to complete the band's remaining Imaginaerum world tour.

Music background
I first started practicing drums when I was 11 years old. Since there was no place to rehearse, I didn’t really practice much at that time. So at that time I basically just practiced by hitting the bed, chairs or targets. My first band was called The Highway when I was 11 or 2 years old. When I was 15 or 6 years old, I joined that band at that time. We had a place to practice a few times a week. After leaving the band I played with Emppu (nightwish's guitarist) and had a permanent place to rehearse. Thank God, we were able to rehearse every day from then on. And we did practice for a long time.
At first we were practicing some Finnish rock music, but soon after we started to drift into bands like Stratovarius, Helloween and Yngwie Malmsteen. When I was 17 (if I remember correctly) Tuomas (Nightwish keyboardist) and Emppu (nightwish) Guitarist) invited me to join a project called Nightwish and the rest is history
