The first beat of the small fill-in usually overlaps the last word of the aria. The leaf spring is stretchy, smooth, beautiful and the most distinctive.

The speed is generally medium, slightly slower, more suitable for lyricism and narrative. Feiban singing is similar to that of Danban in that it is also performed regularly with a variety of rhythm patterns. The first beat of the fill-in overlaps the last word of the aria. The poem is short and distinctive. The speed of Feiban is slightly faster, and the singing style is more rap-like and narrative. Accompanying instruments include orchestral instruments such as Sihu, Erhu, pipa, dulcimer, flute, suona, etc.; percussion instruments include fishing drums, bamboo sticks, water bangzi, daluo, small gongs, daca, jiaozi, tanggu, war drums, bangu, yazi, etc. . The singing style of Long Opera is relatively free, with smooth melody and bright rhythm, similar to rap. The drawl at the end of the tune is called Huang, and when it is sung, it is called Ma Huang. Ma Huang is long and graceful, with strong charm and rich local color. It is an important component of the unique style of Long Opera music. The musical instruments used in Long Opera have also developed greatly, with the addition of pipa, erhu, sheng, banhu, dulcimer, fiddle and some brass and woodwind instruments, enriching the expressive power of Long Opera music.
