Hosono Haruomi

One of the most famous electronic musicians in Japan. In his early years, he was deeply influenced by German progressive rock and electronic music. In 1969, he formed the band Happy End. His heyday began when he formed the band YMO with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Shinhiro Takahashi. YMO is an important mark in the history of Japanese pop music, and Hosono Haruomi is the soul of the band.
