L.H or l.h (left hand) is the left hand in English; R.H or r.h (right hand) is the right hand in English. This is often marked on the piano sheet as a clue as to which hand should be used to play. In addition, Italian words are also used on the piano score to prompt breakup - sinistra (left) mano (hand), destra (right) mano (hand).
