After the epidemic, I quit my job and stayed at home. After lying down for a while, I found out that I had received a total of more than 20,000 passive income without working.

What is passive income? You can refer to rent collection and bank savings interest. It’s just that what I save is knowledge, culture and art products. ?

The more than 20,000 yuan comes from three parts: NetEase Cloud Music revenue, writing fees, and self-media revenue.

I learned the arrangement in my spare time before I quit my job and stayed at home. Later, I uploaded about four songs to NetEase Cloud Music. At the beginning, the monthly income was only a few hundred, but I think it is worth it to at least make money every month.

Unexpectedly, after a while, NetEase Cloud licenses began to be sublicensed to foreign oil pipelines, so the income was more than 1,000 for several months.

In other words, I have earned 17,000 by uploading four songs.

It doesn’t sound like much, but think about it. After uploading, I don’t have to spend time maintaining it at all, and I can still receive money until the APP goes bankrupt. Isn’t this more profitable than saving money in the bank? ?

Secondly, most of the income is royalties.

I started writing when I was in high school. I earned my first writing bonus of 1,000 yuan when I was 17 years old. I started submitting articles to literary magazines when I was 19 years old in college. The fee is one hundred words per thousand words.

I started to get in touch with self-media during my college internship and started writing for self-media. Basically, the fee for a tweet is 500-1,000.

Some articles are reprinted, bringing in secondary royalties, which is actually considered passive income. After resigning and staying at home, I loved reading and writing book reviews while reading. I also made a lot of money from book reviews, and some publishers gave me books. The third part is the income from self-media. In the first month of running Xiaohongshu, I got 700 fans and started to receive the first promotion, and the income was 40 per article. In the second month, there are 2,000 fans and 200 advertising fees per article. Advertisers include APP, Tsinghua University open courses, etc. Since self-media has just started, the income is only a small part, but if it can be monetized, it is a good start.

The road to success cannot be copied, but it can provide reference ideas. In fact, my basic idea for doing so much is: develop side businesses, create passive income, and think about compound interest. What people rely on will be controlled by them. Relying on the company to pay dead wages will naturally be affected during the epidemic. Developing side businesses in multiple lines actually reduces pressure on yourself in the future and gives you more ability to cope with uncontrollable future events.
