Method/Steps
1. First, we must make sure that the music files have been imported into the mobile phone and can be found. At this time, we find the settings of the phone, find the sound option there, and click on it. Find the music file we want to set the ringtone in, click it, and you're done.
2. If this fails, then we can find the music file we want to set as a ringtone in the music software we installed, and then keep clicking on it until the shortcut menu pops up, and then click Set it as a ringtone, and then a prompt message indicating that the ringtone setting is successful will appear.
3. You can also check the extension of the music file. Generally speaking, the music file format of mobile phone ringtones is mp3, but there are some music file formats that although music software can play them, they are not supported by mobile phone ringtones, such as the flac format. So for mobile phone ringtones, mp3 format is the best.
4. Download the music files again. Sometimes during the downloading process of a file, various situations may occur, causing errors in the file downloading process, thereby damaging the file and causing the file to be unable to be used normally. So re-downloading the file can often solve such problems.
5. Restart the phone. This allows some updated programs to be run, so that all devices on the phone can run normally, thus eliminating the problem of unsuccessful ringtone settings. However, most of the time, there is no need to restart the phone, and you can do so when necessary.
6. If this doesn’t work, then we can re-flash the machine. Generally speaking, system problems are a factor that leads to unsuccessful mobile phone setup, but the probability of this is small. Therefore, you must be cautious before re-flashing the phone, because flashing the phone also has certain risks.
