Dong Qing’s teacher at Tianjin Conservatory of Music

Dong Qing, male, was born in Tianjin in 1960 and graduated from Tianjin Conservatory of Music in 1982. Currently, he is an associate professor of Sheng major in the Folk Music Department of Tianjin Conservatory of Music and deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office. Member of China National Orchestra Society and Tianjin Musicians Association. Director of the first Chinese Sheng Professional Committee. He once served as a judge for the postgraduate examination of Sheng major at China Conservatory of Music. Over the years, he has cultivated many outstanding artistic talents, and has successively written and published "The Sound and Training of the Sheng", "Controlled Breathing of the Sheng", "Practice the External Kung Fu to Improve the Performance of the Sheng", "The Reform and Development of the Sheng", " "Historical Talk" and many other papers. He compiled Volumes 1 and 2 of "Practice of Common Sheng Techniques" and Volume 1 of "Practice of Polyphony". He once visited Italy to visit and perform.
