The last gathering of roommates after graduation. One roommate wants to bring his partner. Is it appropriate?

1. First, let’s briefly introduce the layout of the school. Please refer to the map above for details.

Please first refer to the school’s layout and navigation map to clarify the location of your college. When you come to report on the first day, be sure not to rush to the main gate of the school. The reporting points for freshmen in each college are different. Especially for non-department students, such as freshmen in engineering and navigation, you should clearly see where your college is located to facilitate your reporting. Generally speaking, the reporting points will be set up downstairs in the dormitories in their respective areas. So………………

Also, those freshmen who come from the province by car or take a TAXI from the airport, please also check the location of your college, because the TAXI driver only knows Jimei University. There may not be a reception point for your college at the main entrance. For example, there are no art colleges or finance and economics colleges. Although there are school buses that will transport everyone from the school gate during the back hours, the frequency of the school buses will be relatively long. so. . . . .

Also, for children and parents who take a Jimei minivan to go to college, remember that the upper limit is 5 yuan per person, so don’t get ripped off. . . . . .

2. Simulation process on the first day at school:

1. When you arrive at your college area, there will be seniors from the student union or self-discipline association to help you get your things. , to help you guide the way. At that time, you should talk to them more, chat more, and become familiar with them. They will help you with reporting and registration matters in the future.

2. Generally, it takes about 15 minutes or less to walk from the college to the reporting point. So if you see a car, try to take it. But you can also chat with the seniors who pick you up. At the same time, enjoy the beautiful scenery of Ji Da.

3. When you arrive at the reporting point, you will see many signboards, so go to the corresponding window to report. After reporting, I found out which dormitory I was in and received many things such as campus cards. Don’t forget to lose your campus card. It will follow you for four years. You need it to eat and enter the dormitory. At that time, the school will send out some maps and other things...

4. After completing the formalities at the reporting point, they usually go to check out the dormitories. After cleaning the dormitory a little, putting things away, and getting to know your roommates, you can go to the Life Center (the campus center last year, if you change places this year, the seniors will tell you) to get military training supplies. Try to pick up things as early as possible...if it's too late...if your shoes are size 40 but they are no longer available...the staff will replace them with shoes that are closest to your size...the same goes for clothes...and remember to try on the shoes on the spot...note : Don’t lose your shoelaces on the road.

5. After finishing these basics, you can go to eat. There is no need to rush to buy things. After eating, you can go shopping slowly with your family or friends. It is still in time. There may be a lot of students selling bedding on the roadside. If you know the goods, you can go there and be sure to bargain. Don't go to the Student Activity Center just for convenience.

6. After the placement is completed, get familiar with the campus and then wait for the military training.

Someone will pick you up at the train station...it's from the Jimei University Student Union...there are school buses that can take you to the school gate...it may be difficult at the airport...last year it was because the airport didn't allow school cars to go in...so...usually it's the same way to the airport. Take a TAXI to collect the big ones by yourself

※Bank Chapter

[1 ] Construction Bank:

There is one next door to the School of Finance and Economics on Shigu Road, and almost everyone goes there. There is also a head office, which is too remote. It is on Jiyuan Road, heading towards Suning - Miba (please note that if you lose the CCB card issued by your school, you need to replace it at this head office) (when you go there) If you want to copy something, don’t go to the copy shop opposite, it’s a black shop!!).

Construction of ATMs: There is one at the activity center (glass) of the college and one at the entrance of the restaurant. There are two stores in Yiguo (opposite the entrance of Teachers College).

There is one at the intersection of Small Commodity Street, one by the Jianxing Gate on Shigu Road, and two in Suncuo. One is 50 meters further in from the intersection, and the other is about 30 meters further from the suncuo vegetable market.

[2]Industrial and Commercial Bank of China:

There is one at the intersection of Commodity Street. Walking straight up from Commodity Street, there is one at the end. The head office is too remote. Also on Jiyuan Road, on Jiyuan Road. There is also a store next to Converse. Please note that if you lose the ICBC card issued by your school, you must replace it at this head office

ICBC ATM: There is one in the activity center of the college, and there is also one in front of the bank in the Commodity Street

[3] Agricultural Bank of China:

There is one on Jiyuan Road towards the headquarters, which is relatively close to Shuiyuan New District and Hanghang New District. Please note that if you lose your Agricultural Bank of China card issued by your school, you must replace it at this head office

Agricultural Bank of China ATM: There is one right next to the bank door. Continuing walking from Suncuo Market, there is a postal savings bank:

In the middle of Shigu Road, (I can’t tell you exactly, you’ll see it when you walk by. Opposite is Bicycle)

Postal ATM: Right next door to the post office. There is also one in the college's activity center, but I don't know if it is still available.

[5]Industrial Bank:

Enter the head office on the road opposite the old one (now it has been moved, so it is the old one). It's about meters away.

Xingye ATM: The one next to the head office.

[6] Bank of China:

The head office is on the road opposite the old one, which is also meters away. There is also a small Bank of China next to the Agricultural Bank of China on Commodity Street.

Summary:

Jiyuan Road is what I call Bank Road. There are many banks on Jiyuan Road. Just go to the left and right of the intersection, including Industrial and Commercial, Construction, Bank of China, Industrial Bank, etc. Wait, but they are all the head office, some of which cannot handle private business, and are still a bit far away... (About the ATMs within the college. There are usually long queues on weekends, and there are often situations where there is no money to withdraw, which is very frustrating. Crazy and depressing. I usually don’t go to the activity center to pick it up because there are too many people and I have to wait in line for a long time.) So I usually put it in my wallet and charge it into my meal card, which can last for more than 20 days. . . .

※Post Office※

There is a post office in the activity center (glass) of Chengyi College, which is very convenient for writing letters and mailing things. The post office on Shigu Road in Jimei can send and receive parcels and express mail. Reminder: Postal savings and post offices are now managed separately. Don’t think that you can send or receive parcels if there is a postal mark. ... Check the specific rates yourself...

※Communication※

:

It’s best to change your card when you come here. (It’s up to you to choose. Basically, there are more of them.) M-Zone is pretty good now. Almost all those who used to use campus cards have switched to M-Zone. It seems that there is a card that is given when you come, so you can use it~

:

You can get a new phone, or you can buy a second-hand one (more cost-effective, but I just arrived) You should always pick up the phone from the original user), or you can bring an empty phone to recharge it, and charge about one. Not recommended though. Because there are not many, especially after your phone has been dropped, it often happens that you can call out but others cannot call in.

Fixed:

Generally, people in dormitories use cards to check in, but here in Xiamen, they use cards or debit cards. You can make calls in the dormitory, and the basic call charges are free (it is said that the school helps). In this way, long-distance calls are super cheap.

IC card:

=. =!~No one seems to be using this anymore. I still have one. Anyone who wants to give it to someone!

※Military training※

I had to do military training when I first came here. I should do it this year. It's scheduled for the beginning of school, and the training will be here in about two weeks. I'll go home and straighten up before starting class

Military training is not as scary as you think, it's very simple, but if you're not healthy, be careful and don't let your hair down. As long as it's too long, don't dye it, and there will generally be no problem.

This is not necessarily the case for girls. I am not a girl and I don’t know the specific regulations...

Generally, the content of military training is walking, walking, running... and stereotypes... Tired is a bit tired, But generally the biggest change after military training is that you turn black.

In the evenings of military training, there are sometimes concerts, where platoons come out one by one. You sing one song, and we sing one song. Don’t expect to be able to sing popular songs. They are all revolutionary songs, and you have to learn to sing them in school. And it’s not about singing, it’s all about shouting...be careful with your voice~! (I really miss that night when more than 10 people lined up on the sand to play. At that time, we were still at the head of the queue, and I still remember a girl. singing and peacock dancing. You can’t experience that kind of scene?)

Military training is also the last time for everyone to be innocent, so cherish it. If you can get to know more friends, do it as soon as possible~

※About the fellows※

For those who come from other places to study here, the fellows can be said to be very important social partners.

The new students who have just arrived are confused and do not understand anything. Usually, first of all, the fellow villagers will take you to familiarize yourself with the terrain here and the general situation of the school (of course, this situation may change after our manual is completed).

As a fellow old student, you should get to know the situation of the new fellow students when they sign up. Then find them and get to know them. When meeting fellow students for the first time, freshmen can ask them any questions they don’t understand (including those we have listed here), and they should get satisfactory answers. Regarding college life and the differences between college and high school, my experience is rich. The different experiences of fellow students in college can be used as a comprehensive reference for freshmen regarding their future. Whether you are preparing to take the postgraduate entrance examination as the goal, preparing to focus on the certification examination, or whether you want to get a diploma and start working, fellow villagers can provide you with many useful lessons.

It can be said that in universities, fellow students are the most enthusiastic and selfless in helping new students, especially those from other provinces. It is precisely because of this that many lovers have developed from this pure relationship with fellow villagers (this is a digression).

The main ways between fellow villagers are as follows:

1. Regular gatherings of fellow villagers.

When new students come here, fellow villagers will take them to Moon River, Bashu or other places to have a meal. The fastest place to make friends is at the dinner table. Therefore, freshmen should also seize the opportunity and take the initiative to ask for dormitories from fellow seniors. Especially fellows from the same major and college, try to visit as many as possible when you have the opportunity. Because of the same and similar majors, they will give you more help than other fellows, including in study and life.

2.

It is the most direct and common. Personally, every time I get together, have dinner, or play with fellow villagers, I consider it a formal notification.

3. Visit the fellows directly.

After you know the addresses of the fellows (usually you will get a fellow card not long after you get to know each other), you can go to the fellows’ dormitory at your convenience. . By visiting students, you can more directly experience senior college life and have more opportunities to get close to fellow students. Of course, there are still things to pay attention to when visiting fellow villagers. For example, if you don’t have time for the postgraduate entrance examination, or if you don’t like your frequent visits due to personality issues, etc., it’s best to go less frequently. As a courtesy, it is best to give one to the fellow villager before visiting so that he can be fully prepared and arranged. When going to a fellow dormitory for the first time, you should pay special attention to your words and deeds, especially if you go to a dormitory of fellows of the opposite sex. Your performance is not only a personal problem for you, but also affects the image of the entire community of fellow villagers. Of course, once you become familiar with the people in your dormitory, you can be more casual.

The above are fellow friends of Mumu, so enthusiastic. But remember, not all people are good people. In many places, people have different meetings with fellow villagers. Some fellow villagers are not very enthusiastic, and some even lie to others. It is difficult to tell anything, so be careful when you go out.

※About getting sick※

When you come, it is recommended to bring some commonly used stomach medicine, cold medicine, antipyretics, analgesics, wound dressings, etc. Although you can see a doctor in the school center (medical treatment) The medicines are 50% off (the location is opposite Jimei University Headquarters), which is pretty cheap, but it’s better to bring them yourself to avoid trouble. Mainly, there is no center within CY College, and medical treatment recently has to go to the second one (-- a bit "expensive"). If there is an emergency, it would be better to have some medicine with you. (But don’t take medicine randomly~) The second one is more formal, so it will be more expensive and there will be more procedures. Although the Shigu Road Clinic is small, it is still good for treating gastritis and so on. It is cheaper than the Second Hospital and provides quicker results (it is located just opposite). If you have a serious illness, you have to go to the second hospital. If there is no serious illness, it is recommended to go to the center opposite the headquarters of the Central Medical University. The main thing is that it is cheap. Of course, the treatment is not bad, and it is run by the school itself.

If you make your own medicine, the cheaper one is Shigu Medicine on Shigu Road. There is a pharmacy on the right when you go out in the same city. Lotus Hall. Go straight out from under the bridge and turn left. There is a pharmacy, Lian Fu Tang. . These two are a bit expensive. There is also a pharmacy in Jimei Center. But it's hard to find. The price is unclear. . Correction: The medicines at Lian Fu Tang are a bit more expensive than those at my home pharmacy, but according to my observation, the medicines from Shigu Medicine are more expensive

I don’t recommend that you go to E-commerce and go towards the traffic lights. That small clinic gives medicine. Expensive!! The effect is not very good.
