How to download BT with Thunder? 2007-04-24 14:0 1 First, the download of the protocol is faster.

In the traditional BT download, users can only download files from other BT clients (called peers) (as shown in figure 1), and at the same time provide upload service to speed up the download. According to BT principle, the more people download, the faster the download speed. But in the process of downloading, if there are fewer peers, the download speed will drop sharply!

Figure 1

Now Thunder's new generation BT technology has solved this problem. You can use the powerful P2SP network of Thunder while using BT network (i.e. downloading through peers). In this way, when downloading BT tasks, Thunder users can not only download the same file from other BT clients and Thunder clients, but also download it from HTTP and FTP sites (as shown in Figure 2), which greatly increases the sources of downloading and naturally returns a lot of resources. Coupled with Thunder's smart grid computing technology, its BT download speed will become super fast!

skill

This is the advantage of Thunder itself, which other BT tools can't do.

Second, it is more stable and there is no BT.

BT download has a fatal problem, that is, when the number of online seeds is zero or the number of peers decreases, its health may be less than 100%. In this case, it is likely that the corresponding resources will no longer be available. This is also a headache for many BT users (don't you see, many forums often have people kneeling for seeds)!

As mentioned above, Thunder can now use its powerful P2SP network while using BT network. In other words, users not only get data from BT clients, but also get corresponding data from P2SP network. Because most of the files stored in P2SP network come from HTTP and FTP sites, the integrity of downloaded files can be greatly guaranteed, and the stability of downloaded resources can be finally improved. Even if BT clients have no seeds or the number of peers is reduced to zero (which is very common), we can ensure the stable download of the resources we want.

Third, support DHT network to obtain more resources.

The new version of Thunder fully supports DHT network, which means that Thunder can take a "wider" DHT network when downloading BT resources (as shown in Figure 3), and can find other users downloading the same file in this network. In this way, Thunder can download data from this user BT while providing data. With more resources and connections, coupled with the intelligent calculation of Thunder, its speed will be greatly improved.

skill

The new version of BT Thunder automatically supports DHT network without user setting, which greatly improves the usability.

Fourthly, automatic mapping of active intelligent connection ports.

Most enterprise LAN users and users who use broadband routers often complain that downloading with BT is too slow. The reason for this phenomenon is that both LAN users and users using broadband routers use NAT to convert the IP of the internal network (that is, the internal address, which cannot be routed and can not directly exchange data with the outside world) into the IP that can be routed by the external network. It can't accept the active connection of external BT clients, so its peers will naturally be much less. Not only can we not get data from these peers, but we can't upload data to them. According to the spirit of BT, the less we upload, the slower we will be!

To solve this problem, the general practice is to do port mapping on the router, but this is very troublesome. Except for network management, it is difficult for ordinary people to complete it. However, the new version of Thunder now supports UPnP port automatic mapping technology, that is, the port that Thunder listens to is mapped from a gateway or router to an intranet computer. This means that users in local area networks and routers can actively connect with more external peers (as shown in Figure 4, including users in local area networks and broadband routers) and can also be connected by more peers. The more peers, the faster.

skill

★ With this technology, LAN and broadband users can communicate with each other without external public network, with stronger penetration, more connections and faster download speed.

★ Realizing UPnP technology really needs the support of routers or gateway devices, but most routers and gateway devices do, and it is also a trend to support UPnP. Don't worry.

Optimization of verb (Verb's abbreviation) Tailor-made System

A good operating system environment is also very important for network applications. Presumably, everyone doesn't want to affect our mood because our tools are often unstable, which in turn affects efficiency (Thunder advocates efficiency)!

Fortunately, the new version of Thunder optimizes the CPU and memory usage of BT download, so that when we download BT's "big guy" resources, the system can also "go into battle easily". When the operating system is relaxed, Thunder itself will naturally be more stable.

This paper mainly analyzes the new generation BT technology of Thunder, including interconnection with P2SP network, support for DHT network, support for UPnP automatic port mapping, etc. These technologies are the reasons to ensure that Thunder can download BT resources at a high speed and stably, and these technologies can break through the traditional restrictions and solve the problems of slow download speed and inability to download all resources due to the lack of seeds and peers in traditional BT download. This is really very exciting news!
