Development history
1925, Adele and Eduardo Fendi, founders of Fendi, opened a specialty store dealing in leather goods and handbags. Adele Fendi learned the technology of leather making in Florence and applied it to the design of all leather goods and handbags in the store. VIA DEL PLEBISCITO, the most prosperous intersection in Rome, has set up a fur workshop behind the shop.
The Fendi couple's shop, with its high-quality products and exquisite craftsmanship, was respected and loved by Roman aristocratic families and social upstarts at that time, thus establishing the Fendi brand in Rome. 1933, the yellow logo color symbolizing Fendi brand was born. At that time, the yellow Fendi shopping paper bag made of parchment was still a brand logo that the public could see at a glance.
1938, Fendi launched a full range of SELLERIA handbags. From 65438 to 0946, Eduardo and Adele's five daughters Paula, Anna, franca, Carla and ALDA entered the family business. In postwar Italy, women's jobs were still rare. The joining of the five sisters has injected new vitality into the brand series with innovative style and forward-looking vision.
