Historical evolution:
During the Sui and Tang Dynasties, Nanpi was under the jurisdiction of Jizhou and Jingzhou several times. In the Five Dynasties, Nanpi County belonged to Cangzhou in the second year of Xiande in the later Zhou Dynasty (955). During the Northern Song Dynasty, Nanpi County belonged to Cangzhou, Hebei East Road. In the sixth year of Xining (1073), Linjin (now Ningjin, Shandong Province) was merged to expand the county territory. Jian Yan in the Southern Song Dynasty lasted for three years (1 129).
Linjin Town is demarcated by Nanpi County. Nanpi County in Yuan Dynasty was under the jurisdiction of Cangzhou, Hejian Prefecture, Zhongshu Province. Nanpi in the Ming Dynasty belonged to Cangzhou, the capital of Hejian, and had jurisdiction over Jiuli. Ten nails per pulp. At the beginning of Qing Dynasty, there were 20 roads in Nanpi.
