Brief introduction of Wu ancestral hall
Wu's Ancestral Hall in Shexian County, Huizhou is a Han ancestral hall building built in Ming Dynasty, which belongs to the place where Han people worship their ancestors and sages. The woodcarving of the ancestral hall is round and full, and the brick carving of the ancestral hall is exquisite and atmospheric. The stone carvings in the ancestral hall are famous at home and abroad-the Ten Scenes of West Lake and Bailuyuan, especially the 53 ritual vessels, which are the treasures of Han sacrificial culture. Through its own architectural form and the dedication of Huizhou School, Wu's Ancestral Hall has silently described the sacrificial culture, clan culture, carving art, painting art and distant history of the Han nationality in Huizhou, which is a concrete embodiment of profound Huizhou culture.
