Why is the name of the Yangtze River Bridge built in Zhenjiang not Zhenjiang Bridge?
Runyang Bridge represents Zhenjiang, because Zhenjiang was originally Runzhou.

Zhenjiang had several names in ancient times: Wu Dongsun had the right to build Tieweng City and set up Jingkou Town; Jinling County was established in Jin Dynasty; Southern Dynasties and Song Dynasty set south Xuzhou; Sui set up Runzhou; Song Sheng Runzhou is Zhenjiang Prefecture. Runyang Bridge was called Runzhou in ancient times, not Zhenjiang. In the ninth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (589), the name of South Xuzhou was abolished. In the fifteenth year of Emperor Kai of Sui Dynasty (AD 595), Runzhou was established in Jingkou.
