Talk in the Garden said that xian county was good at joking, which is well known to all.
And Ji Xiaolan has some quirks, such as carnivorous lewd:
Unofficial history Grand View in Qing Dynasty: Gong never ate cereal or occasionally, but rice never tasted good. When drinking, only ten plates of pork and a pot of tea are served. Xiao Ting's Miscellaneous Notes (Zhao Zai): Gong is 80 years old this year and still lustful. He eats dozens of pounds of meat every day and doesn't vomit a grain a day. It's really amazing.
Notes on Insects (collected from the collection): Ji Wenda said that he was a wild monster, feeding on meat, and there was not a grain of rice in his mouth. Counting women in the sun, five drums are like once in the morning, once at home, once at noon, once at dusk and once in bed, all of which are indispensable. In addition, those who are lucky on a whim are also common.
He has done a lot of things in his life, and there are two things that he has done the most. One is to preside over the imperial examination, and the other is to lead the compilation.
He is the examiner of two provincial examinations and six civil and military examinations, so he has a large number of scholars and great influence in Shilin.
He has presided over the editing for many times, and successively served as editor-in-chief, chief executive officer, chief executive officer of Wuying Hall, Santong Hall, Gongren Hall, National History Museum, General Staff Museum, Siku Quanshu Museum, Records of the Martyrdom of Guo Sheng Gongren, chief executive officer of the official watch, chief executive officer of the Eight Banners Tongzhi Museum, deputy director of the record museum and deputy director of the ceremony museum. It is not a compliment to say that it is a big event at present. In his later years, Ji Xiaolan once lamented: "The official sea rises and falls like a gull; Life and death books, like squid, are a true portrayal of his life. ?
Ji Xiaolan introduced Ji Yun (1724.7.26-1805.3.14), whose real name was Xiaolan, whose real name was Chun Fan, whose real name was Shi Yun, whose real name was Guan Yi and whose real name was Zhili xian county (now Cangzhou City, Hebei Province). Politicians and writers in Qing dynasty, officials in Qianlong period. Li Guan went out of the capital as the suggestion, and the Ministry of War, the Ministry of Rites, the co-organizer, the university student and the Prince of Taibao were in charge of imperial academy affairs. He was the editor-in-chief of Sikuquanshu. Ji Yun studied Confucianism, read widely, wrote poems and essays, and was especially good at textual research and exegesis. Being an official for more than 50 years, he was brilliant and energetic when he was young, but his inner world was increasingly closed in his later years. His Notes on Yuewei Caotang is the product of this mentality. His poems were collected by later generations and compiled into Ji Wenda's Public Legacy Collection. In February of the 10th year of Jiaqing (AD 1805), Ji Yun died of illness. Because he was "sensitive and studious, able to write, and did not award political achievements" (inscription by Emperor Jiaqing), posthumous title Wenda was called Wenda Gong in the village after his death.
Ji Xiaolan has successively served as a bachelor of attendance, a bachelor of cabinet, an assistant minister of the Ministry of War, a consultant of Zuodu, a minister of rites and a college assistant. He edited the Sikuquanshu and wrote the Catalogue of Sikuquanshu.
It is said that Ji Yun and Shenyang have many enemies. As a matter of fact, the relationship between Ji Yun and Shenyang is like forgetting friends. Young little Shenyang is extroverted and provocative. Old Ji Yun, who is gradually restrained and smooth, always kindly reminds little Shenyang. The two have both quarrels brought about by different political views and tacit cooperation. At work, it is more about Xiao Shenyang's concern for Ji Yun; In interpersonal relationship, it is more about Ji Yun's help to Shenyang. At the same time, Ji Yun is also very familiar with his own abilities. Although he is unparalleled in literature, he lags far behind small Shenyang in governing the country and managing finances. Ji Yun himself is just a royal scholar, that is to say, there will be no irreconcilable conflict of interest between Ji Yun and Shenyang. On the other hand, they were also the two most important pillars of the Qing dynasty at that time, and they were the two ministers that Qianlong relied most on. If they are really at loggerheads, there can be no prosperity.
Ji Yun and Liu Yong, Ji Yun and Liu Yong have indissoluble bond. Liu Yong's father, Liu Tongxun, is the examiner after having obtained the provincial examination in Jiyun. Ji Yun has always been grateful to Liu Tongxun for his kind meeting. Then Ji Yun was sent to handle the case, and Liu Yong was in charge. Coincidentally, it was Liu's adult who recommended Ji Yun as the editor-in-chief of Siku Library. Liu Tongxun's eldest son Liu Yong. Small Shenyang has been in power for decades, and ministers at home and abroad have left. Only a few ministers such as Liu Yong and Ji Yun have never attached themselves. Both of them are good at writing, but they both have a hobby of collecting inkstones. Sometimes they give gifts to each other, and they often compete with each other for a beloved thing, but they are indifferent to each other and regard it as a joke.
Ji Yun likes to smoke cigarettes, and civil military commanders secretly call him "Ji Da's pipe". On one occasion, Ji Yun had no time to put out his cigarette, so he had to hide his pipe in his boots and appeared in front of the holy family. The smoke was burning in the boots, and Ji Yun endured the pain, hoping that the emperor would finish it quickly until the smoke came out of his pants. The emperor asked him what happened, and Ji Yun replied, "There is a fire!" The emperor hurriedly let him go out to put out the fire, and Ji Yun went out with one foot. For a long time, Ji Yun was on crutches.
The literary inquisition implicated Ji Yun in the most cruel cultural autocracy in Qianlong period. Since the Qing Dynasty, the literary inquisition reached its peak in the Qianlong period. In the history of China, "ideological crime" was introduced into the scope of statutory punishment for the first time, and the Qianlong period was the beginning. The meaning of its literary inquisition far exceeds the provisions of the Qing Law. During the opening of Sikuquanshu, there were more than 50 cases of literary inquisition, most of which were obtained from the revision of books. Together with Ji Yun, he served as editor-in-chief and general school officer, or was scared to death, or was fined all his possessions. No one died a natural death except Ji Yun. Ji Yun himself has been implicated in the related literary inquisition several times, which is quite dangerous. He was also recorded many times and was punished for writing a wrong book. Therefore, under such political pressure, it is inevitable that intellectuals are alienated and distorted.
