Tang Yin, born in Ming Dynasty, was named Yin because he was born in Yinnian. Painters, calligraphers and poets can be called gifted scholars in Jiangnan area. Tang Yin was born in a small businessman's family in Suzhou on the fourth day of February in the sixth year of Chenghua (1470 March). His family didn't limit his talent. He was brilliant and dabbled in a wide range since he was a child. However, since the seventh year of Hongzhi (1494), life in Tang Yin has undergone drastic changes. His father, mother, wife, children and sister died one after another in a year or two, and his family gradually declined. Tang Yin's good friend Zhu Zhishan couldn't bear to see him depressed, and advised him to study hard and prepare for the science exam. Many things happen. In the 11th year of Hongzhi, Tang Yin and China won the first place in Xie Yuan after having obtained the provincial examination in Tianfu (now Nanjing), and gained a great reputation, claiming to be "the first gifted scholar in the south of the Yangtze River". However, the good times did not last long. The following year's exam, Tang Yin was involved in the imperial examination fraud case and was dismissed. Since then, his fame and fortune have been cut off. Tang Yin was hit hard again, so he left his hometown and traveled around, leaving many excellent calligraphy and paintings during this period. Along the way, the majestic scenery of mountains and rivers gradually calmed his mood, nourished his mind and eased his depression. In the second year of Jiajing (1524 65438+1October 7), Tang Yin died on December 2.

In this film, Tang Bohu is brilliant and charming. However, Tang Yin was born and raised with bad karma in history. Clever as he is, he is poor. When he took the exam, his test paper was stolen. Later, when the truth came out, he refused to be an official and made a living by painting. Not as charming as in the movie.
