Xiamen No.3 Middle School was founded in 1924, and was named Heshan Middle School in Xiamen at that time, located in Heshan Shuanghan Society. The predecessor of the school can be traced back to the famous Heshan A Business School, Heshan Academy and Mu An Academy in Xiamen.

1949 After the founding of New China, the school was renamed Xiamen No.2 Middle School.

1952, the school was renamed Heshan Middle School.

1953 65438+1On October 6th, Xiamen Municipal People's Government officially named it Xiamen No.3 Middle School.

1958, the school moved from the original site of Heshan Xiangdian Society to Tangbian.

1970 to 1972, the school was renamed as Xiamen Ganxian Middle School, and branches were set up in Gao Lin, Xilin and Zengta.

From 1972 to 1979, the school was renamed Xiamen qianxian No.1 middle school.

From 1979 to 198 1, the school was renamed as Heshan Middle School in Xiamen.

1March, 990, the school resumed using the name of Xiamen No.3 Middle School.
