Lingqu, called Qin Interception Canal, Lingling Canal, Douhe Canal and Xing 'an Canal in ancient times, is a great project created by working people in ancient China. Located in Xing 'an, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, it was opened to traffic in 2 14 BC. Lingqu is from east to west, connecting Dayang River in the east of Xing 'an (the source of Xiangjiang River is from south to north) and Darong River in the west of Xing 'an (the source of Lijiang River is from north to south). It is one of the oldest canals in the world and has the reputation of "the pearl of ancient water conservancy buildings in the world".
Dujiangyan is located in the west of Dujiangyan City, Chengdu, Sichuan Province, on the Minjiang River in the west of Chengdu Plain. It was built in the last years of Zhao Haoqi in the Qin Dynasty (about 256 BC ~ 25 BC1year). It is a large-scale water conservancy project organized by Li Bing and his son, the magistrate of Shu County, on the basis of excavating the turtle spirit of their predecessors. It is composed of a fish mouth, a flying sand weir, a bottle mouth and other parts, and has been playing the role of flood control and irrigation for more than 2000 years. Chengdu Plain has become a "land of abundance" with thousands of miles of floods and droughts. Up to now, the irrigation area has reached more than 30 counties and cities, covering an area of nearly 10 million mu. It is the oldest and only water conservancy project in the world. It is characterized by water diversion without dam, which embodies the diligence, courage and wisdom of the working people of Han nationality in ancient China.
In the thirty-third year of Qin Changcheng, the first year of Qin Shihuang (2 14 BC), the general Meng Tian was sent to drive the Xiongnu in the north, in Lintao, Gansu (now Wang Er, Sanshidun Village, Lintao xin tian zhen) in the west, and in the east, the Great Wall was built in Liaodong to stop the Xiongnu from advancing southward, which was called Qin Changcheng in history. In Guyuan area, it was actually built on the basis of the Great Wall of Qin, Zhao and Yan during the Warring States Period. East and west across Xiji, Guyuan and Pengyang counties. On Sedang Mountain, 7 kilometers north of Guyang County, a winding dragon lies quietly among the mountains. Looking from a distance, it is magnificent and extraordinary. This is one of the eight wonders of the world and one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages.
