Yesterday afternoon, we left Basha and went to Zhaoxing Dong Village. Obviously, the facilities here are more mature and perfect, the streets are clean and tidy, there are many shops, and there is some taste of Lijiang.
Zhaoxing Dong Village is surrounded by mountains. The village is built in a mountain basin, and two streams converge into a small river and pass through it. Zhaoxing, the waterfront area where we live, is built by the river. When we open the window from the room, we can't help feeling relaxed and happy. The opposite mountain, water, drum tower, green trees and tiles come into view, and the beauty is flawless. If there is any way to pack it and take it away, I'm sure I'll accept it all.
Enjoy the perfect scenery, and then go to eat, this is a long table banquet!
I was a little disappointed when I arrived. I didn't spread a long gray table next to the diaojiao building and serve bowls of food as I saw on TV. The shiny table and white tableware form a rectangle, reminding me that this is a restaurant! However, the continuous "high mountains and flowing waters" still let us viewers and drinkers fully indulge in ethnic customs.
In the evening, children have geography classes, and adults stroll the streets and enjoy the colorful night scenes of Dong Village.
Compared with the original Miao village, it is more suitable to stay here for a few nights, savor it carefully and enjoy life slowly. This is the first understanding of Zhaoxing.
The next morning, we went to the village entrance to watch a brief welcoming ceremony and began to visit Dong Village.
Zhaoxing Dong Village is a Dong nationality with the surname of Lu. It is divided into five housing households and five natural areas, which are called "Tuan" locally. Divided into five groups: benevolence group, righteousness group, courtesy group, wisdom group and faith group.
The most famous Dong Village in Zhaoxing is its Drum Tower Group, which is unique among Dong Villages in China. It is recorded in the Guinness Book of World Records and is known as the "hometown of culture and art in the Drum Tower". There are five regiments in the village, and there are five Drum Towers. The appearance, height, size and style of the five drum towers are different, which is a grand view. This is the tallest letter drum tower, with eleven floors and a height of 25.9 meters.
The Drum Tower in Dong Village is a symbol of good fortune and wealth, which was built by the whole village. Drum Tower is not only a symbol of Dong village and Dong surname, but also an occasion for Dong people to relax and associate with young people. It is also a place for receiving guests, gathering and discussing, transmitting information and offering sacrifices.
Drum tower looks like a pagoda from the outside, with double eaves and magnificent momentum. The whole building is made of wood structure, with four big Chinese fir as main columns reaching the top floor, and another auxiliary column with melons extending around, all with wooden tenons. Traditionally, a Lei Gong column hangs in the center, four gold columns are the main load-bearing columns, and the structure of twelve eaves columns around it symbolizes one year, four seasons and twelve months, which means "everlasting".
It is said that there are "three treasures" in Dong village, namely Drum Tower, Yufeng Bridge and Dong folk songs.
Yufeng Bridge is a symbol of Dong people and a traditional traffic building. This bridge, also known as "Flower Bridge", is named after it can shelter from the wind and rain and is decorated with colorful paintings. It is a kind of bridge architecture that integrates bridges, corridors and pavilions, and it is the crystallization of Dong nationality's bridge architecture art.
This kind of bridge consists of three parts: lower, middle and upper. The lower part is the pier, surrounded by large bluestones, which are filled with stones. It is a hexagonal column, and the upstream and downstream are at acute angles to reduce the impact of floods. The middle part is the bridge deck, all made of wood and connected by tenons. The upper part is a bridge deck corridor, which is connected into a whole by a beam-column system combined with tenon and mortise. There are stool railings between the wooden pillars of the pavilion, and a layer of rain eaves is selected outside the railings, which not only enhances the overall aesthetic feeling of the bridge, but also protects the deck and supports. The bridge is placed on the pier, and there is no riveting measure between the pier and abutment, only abutment and pier play the role of overhead bearing platform. It reflects that the mechanical level of Dong people has reached a fairly high level.
The wind and rain bridge is both beautiful and strong, which can not only provide people with places to walk and shelter from the wind and rain, but also provide people with places to rest or welcome guests. In Zhaoxing Dong Village, there are five wind and rain bridges with different styles.
There was no time to visit the Drum Tower and Yufeng Bridge one by one, so we rushed to the performance venue to watch the third treasure of Dong Village-Dong Da Ge.
According to records, Dong folk songs, which originated in the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period, have a history of more than 2,500 years. It is a folk chorus form with multi-voices, no command, no accompaniment and natural chorus in Dong nationality area of China. In 2009, Dong folk songs were listed in the representative list of human intangible cultural heritage.
I prefer these songs with scenes and lively forms, especially the Four Seasons songs, to the kind of "music is like a clear spring, and the melody passes by the edge of an ancient dream". Dong people's big songs show the labor scenes all year round with brisk movements and songs. Although they don't understand the meaning of the lyrics, the beauty of that sense of rhythm makes people feel the happiness of the workers. Obviously, compared with the roughness of Miao compatriots, Dong compatriots can sing and dance well.
Dong folk songs are twice a day, at 10 at 6: 00 in the morning and 6: 00 in the afternoon, and there may be another one at 8: 00 in the evening after the transformation. If there is enough time, it is more suitable for watching the night show, with good lighting effect and cooler. After reading this "three treasures", it's time to start work. Next, the children will experience batik of national handicrafts.
Batik is a traditional manual printing and dyeing process, using wax as anti-dyeing material. The main method is to dip the wax knife into the wax liquid, draw geometric patterns or flowers, birds, insects and fish patterns on the white cloth, then dip it into the indigo vat (mainly blue), and dewax it with water to show the patterns. Skilled or can draw directly with wax, children should first draw the manuscript on white cloth with a pencil, and then cover the lines with wax.
After drawing the pattern, put the cloth into the dyeing vat for dyeing. In order to facilitate children's operation, take out a basin of dye to use. The dye is indigo, which is made of bluegrass, a plant rich in Guizhou, and fermented in a cellar.
After the cloth is soaked in the dye vat several times, it is washed with water, then boiled with clear water to remove the wax, and then rinsed, and blue and white patterns will appear on the cloth. We breathed the rich smell (some rancid) of the dye and dipped it once, then gave it to the mother-in-law in the shop for treatment and came back the next day.
In the afternoon, children will talk about what they saw and heard today in geography class, which will also produce a new issue of Xueba. As the saying goes, "on paper, I don't know what to do." I believe that after the field visit experience, the children must have their own understanding and feelings about Dong Village. I wish them all the best.
Will brain cells be too tired after receiving so much information? It's time to play in the fields. Our party is going to the rice fields to catch fish. Let's go!
Let's talk about fish farming in rice fields first. It is reported that raising fish on the surface of paddy field can not only obtain fish products, but also eat pests and weeds in paddy field, excrete feces, turn over soil to promote fertilizer decomposition, create favorable conditions for rice growth, and generally increase the yield by about 10%, killing two birds with one stone.
Since fish farming has many advantages, of course, it is not really fishing in rice fields, but in a large pool surrounded by concrete walls.
At first, the children tried to get into the water and gradually let go of their courage and were able to walk freely in the pool. However, despite the search, the fish is only deep in the mud.
Finally, a young man won, and he was full of sense of accomplishment with his fishing net. Next, the fathers also helped and finally got something.
But I don't know if there are too few fish or too cunning. The fish caught is far from enough for dinner (cruel). In order to prove the rich existence of fish, the shopkeeper introduced electric fish with equipment. I didn't expect such a new weapon, and the fish finally couldn't escape the bad luck of being eaten.
After catching the fish, the children began to play with water happily. The water gun prepared by Mix came in handy, and the children had a good time.
During the period, a dark cloud slowly drifted across the distant mountains, and suddenly the sky was boundless and there was a shower. Some children still stay in the water and enjoy themselves, while others become clay figurines. . .
The children in the water are busy cooking grilled fish. In other words, grilled fish is really delicious. The child swept the dinner as soon as it was served!
Dinner is not enough. Let's enjoy the meaningful clips captured by photographer Zhang Dage. It's really picturesque and beautiful.
On the way back, I continued to wander in this twilight, and even the sky seemed to be attached to it, covered with a gorgeous set. Those lights decorate the night and warm the hearts of tourists. Children still like to play in the water by the river. Maybe one day when they come here again, they will have a different mood. The waterfront is booming, and we look forward to meeting again!
