This semester, under the direct leadership of the school, the teaching department and the teaching and research section, the history department actively delved into the subject theory, focused on improving the teaching quality and curriculum reform, and strengthened professional learning, further improving the quality of history teachers and the quality of education and teaching. The main work of this semester is reviewed as follows:
First, do a good job in the inspection and implementation of teaching routine work
This semester, the history department conscientiously implemented the teaching routine formulated by the school. Before the mid-term exam, conduct a comprehensive and detailed inspection of the implementation of the teaching routine of teachers in this group 16. Each lesson preparation team prepared lessons collectively as required and made records. Every teacher can prepare lessons one week in advance, each with its own characteristics. Every teacher's attendance and evaluation of classes have reached the number of times required by the school. Every teacher pays attention to the design and handling of knowledge system and problems when preparing lessons and teaching, and pays attention to cultivating students' practical ability to understand and solve problems. The regular teaching work of history group is standardized and solid.
Second, deepen the classroom teaching and research atmosphere in the group to promote teaching through research.
This semester, each teacher combined with our group's teaching practice, organized the whole group of teachers to attend lectures and evaluate classes around the lecture plan formulated by the teaching and research section at the beginning of the school semester, and conducted uninterrupted business theory study, from which he gradually explored a history classroom teaching model suitable for the psychological characteristics of students of different grades, which improved students' initiative and enthusiasm, thus improving learning efficiency. In addition, when organizing the teachers of the teaching and research group to attend classes, carefully organize the preparation group and the science group to discuss the teaching materials, teaching methods and learning conditions. The lecturers go all out to do every class well. After class, the whole group of teachers speak freely, evaluate the class's characteristic style and put forward constructive suggestions.
Third, the collective lesson preparation has been strengthened and the overall level of the members of the lesson preparation group has been improved.
Each lesson preparation group earnestly implements the relevant requirements of the school for collective lesson preparation. In the process of collective lesson preparation, we strengthened unity and cooperation, gave full play to the collective wisdom and strength, and promoted the professional growth of teachers.
Four, several major tasks completed this semester.
1. Completed the application for joining the excellent scientific research groups in Guangzhou. The materials have been submitted to the teaching and research section of Zengcheng Education Bureau.
2. Organize students to prepare for the Guangzhou Historical Drama Competition, and have finished the script and preliminary rehearsal.
3. Organize the class to participate in Zengcheng's speech contest and win a second prize and a third prize.
4. Cooperate with trade unions to elect representatives of the Ninth Teachers' Congress and make suggestions.
This semester, everyone feels very busy and full. Looking back and summarizing the road we have traveled, the achievements are the result of the efforts of the teachers of the whole teaching and research group. Reflecting on the work of a semester, everyone agrees that there are still many shortcomings:
1, learning is endless, teaching is uncertain. In the usual teaching and research and guidance, we often feel that "resources are limited" and are not used well.
2. The activity class of history inquiry learning is still relatively weak in teaching, and it has a long way to go and needs to be strengthened.
(1) Strengthen the study and application of history curriculum standards and the latest educational theories of history disciplines, study in the preparation group as a unit, discuss in the teaching and research group as a unit, and each preparation group will launch a demonstration class for research.
(2) Make more and better use of modern educational technology to assist teaching, and strengthen the exchange and sharing of teaching resources among teachers in teaching and research groups.
(3) In conventional teaching, there are some areas that need to be improved: listening to lectures, listening to other subjects and learning from others. In addition, we should create conditions, go out and introduce, stimulate teachers to improve the enthusiasm of classroom teaching art, and adjust teaching content and ideas in time.
