Due to the Japanese War, Zhao Meilin moved to Luzon (Philippines) in Wanli, and later the family moved to Japan. Now the village retains the corner place name of "Zhao CuO Wai" and the remains of Zhao's ancestral hall. From 65438 to 0989, Mr. Zhao, an overseas Chinese living in Japan, came to Meilin to seek roots and donated money to build the "Meilin Zhao Memorial Pavilion".
During the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1410-1416), Li Jianbin moved from Fotang 'ao (Yongning New Sandy Land) to Meilin with the ancestor of five ministers. Li Jianbin is regarded as the founder of Li Meilin, and has assigned such separate corners as Dongtou, Xiwei, Shipanding, Zhu Xing and Jielu as place names. Most of the place names in other corners of the village are named after the surname of the settlement, such as the corner where Chen lives, which is called "Chen Daibian"; The high corner is called "high outside" and so on.
At the junction of Meilin and the harbor, there is a "wooden bridge". In the early years, a simple pier was built with stones, and only one board was laid on it, so it was called "single-plank bridge", also called "Dan bridge", and the common name was "nail bridge", so the corner near it was called "nail bridge head". Legend has it that there are a pair of interesting bridges related to the "nail bridge":

A bridge is not a bridge, but the construction of a bridge.
