A Brief History of Liuyang No.9 Middle School's Development
1958 From 2003, the predecessor of Liuyang No.9 Middle School was "Complete Primary School Attached to Shashi Junior High School", referred to as "Shashi High School Attached". 1957 started construction in the next phase, and 1958 was formally established in September to recruit a junior middle school class. Its school site is located in Shihuiling, Sixin Shashi Town, with two classrooms and a small teacher's room. According to the development of social situation, in order to expand classes, Shashi People's Commune negotiated with Shashi School District to relocate the school site. First moved to animal husbandry stations on both sides of Shashi commune. Unsuccessful, moved to Qiaoshang Formation, Shashi Village, Shashi Town, and the current site of Liuyang No.9 Middle School. 1959, Class 2 of junior high school entered the school at the original site, and two civil bungalows were built at the new site as student dormitories. The person in charge at that time was Comrade Long Wenchu. During the following period of 1960, three junior high schools were enrolled in the new site. At that time, students in the "three-year difficult period" stopped studying one after another, and overage students were sent down to "support agriculture". Therefore, the total number of students in the last issue 196 1 is less than 200, and the whole school is divided into four classes. In the last issue 1962, Class 2 of Chunkou Middle School was transferred to another school and merged with Class 2 of junior high school. 1963, Comrade Long Wenchu was transferred and Comrade Wu Yongkang was in charge. The name of the school was changed from "Shashi Middle School Attached" to "Shashi Junior Middle School Class". 1967 During the Cultural Revolution, students were stopped and Comrade Mao Shubin took over as principal. By next semester 1969, the school has already graduated from three junior high schools. Yes, in the eleven years from 1958 to 1969, there were 17 junior high school graduating classes and more than 870 students graduated. By 1969, the school scale has been expanded to accommodate 8 classes at the same time, which can accommodate more than 150 students, and the prototype of rural middle schools has taken shape.

1in the spring of 969, according to the deployment of Liuyang Education Bureau, the school was changed to high school system, and junior high school was closed. The school name is "Shashi Middle School". That spring, I recruited two classes of Senior One and Senior Two, and another year of "Agricultural Medicine Class". There are six classes in the school, including three junior high school graduates. The director of the school's "Revolutionary Committee" is Jaffe. Later, 1970 enrolled senior three and senior four classes, from 197 1 to 1974 enrolled five classes every year, that is, from senior five classes to senior twenty-four classes. 1972 While retaining the original bungalow classroom, the school has built a double-decker wooden building that can accommodate 8 classes, which can accommodate 12 classes. 1975 The school stopped recruiting Gao Pu. 1976 Under the guidance of the route at that time, the commune started to run its own high school, and the school was renamed as. Two other "May 7th" high school classes were sent to the school by Shashi Commune (four classes graduated from two sessions), forming a situation of "one school, managed separately". The name of the next school in 1976 was changed to "May 7th Agricultural University in Shashi" again, and 1974 enrolled five "ordinary high schools". In order to expand the scale of running a school, according to the instructions of Shashi District Committee at that time, a branch school of Agricultural University was opened at the intersection, and the teacher training class and electrician class moved to the new campus, forming a situation of "one school with one general point". Now, the place name of "Agricultural University" comes from this. At that time, the school basically stopped taking cultural courses, students switched to various majors, teachers switched to teaching specialized courses, and many teachers switched to being "breeders", "pharmacists", "seed producers" and "drivers". 1976, Comrade Dai Jiufu was transferred to the next brigade to do "party consolidation" work. The headmaster is Yang Tongsheng, a native of Shashi District. 1976 was changed to autumn enrollment, so the name of "specialized course" was extended from two years to half a year after graduation. In the last issue 1977, Comrade Dai Jiufu was transferred back to the school as the principal and party branch secretary.

1978, the state officially resumed the college entrance examination system for recruiting "ordinary high school" graduates. That year, more than 30 students in the school were admitted to colleges and universities. According to the instructions of the superior, the commune merged with the high school, and all the high school classes run by the commune affiliated to Shashi District came to our school. The name of Shashi Agricultural University was revoked, and it was officially named "Liuyang No.9 Middle School" by the Liu Xian Municipal Government, directly under the leadership of Liuyang Education Bureau. Comrade Dai Jiufu is the principal and secretary of the Party branch. Six classes in grades 29-34 are registered in the next stage of the year. 1979, Liuyang No.9 Middle School officially enrolled students for the whole county, enrolling 35-38 classes. Qu Houqin was the principal and Dai Jiufu was the party branch secretary, and the school was on the right track. Since then, the school has recruited four senior high school classes from 1979- 1986 every year, with an annual scale of eight classes.

In the last issue 1983, Comrade Dai Jiufu retired and Comrade Qu Houqin was transferred to Liuyang No.15 Middle School. In the following period, the superior appointed Comrade Zhu Yousheng to be in charge of the school work (vice principal), and Luo Tianhua, director of the Shashi District Cultural and Educational Office, served as the party branch secretary, but he did not arrive at the post. 1in March, 984, the superior appointed Bunongsheng as the principal and Zhu Yousheng as the secretary of the Party branch, and the staffing of the school offices was formally improved.

From 65438 to 0986, the academic system of high school was changed from two years to three years. At that time, there were no graduating classes in our school. Therefore, there are twelve categories.

1991September, Comrade Zhu Yousheng is nearing retirement, Comrade Bu Nongsheng is the secretary of the school party branch, and Comrade Huang Jiasheng is the school principal. In the following 1987 period, considering the student capacity, the school once recruited an extra "senior high school repeat class". From 1993 to 1994, the school implements the principle of "dual track system" and enrolls a one-year "clothing craft class" in two phases every year. 1993, Liuyang County was changed to Liuyang City, and the school name was changed to "Liuyang No.9 Middle School". From 1995 to 1996, a "sports security class" is recruited every year, so the school has 16 teaching classes. By 1997 last semester, the school had enrolled 1 14 classes (Shashi commune originally enrolled 4 classes). 1September, 1996, Comrade Huang Jiasheng was transferred, Comrade Long Huaixi was the principal, Comrade Bu Nongsheng was nearing retirement, and Comrade Long Huaixi was the secretary of the Party branch. 1996 At the end of next semester, Comrade Lu Congfa was transferred and Comrade Li Mingkun was appointed as the principal of the school. In the next issue 1998, Comrade Long Huaixi was transferred and Comrade Li Mingkun was appointed as the deputy secretary of the Party branch. (Liuyang Education Bureau has not appointed Party branch secretary) 200 1 Last period, the superior appointed Comrade Deng as the party branch secretary of the school, and later Comrade Li Mingkun was transferred, and Comrade Huizhang Chen was appointed as the school principal.
