Cangnan Wanyao Village was founded in Hongwu period of Ming Dynasty. It is a living "historical museum" and one of the unique cultural landscapes. It integrates ancient dwellings, ancient ceramic production lines and ancient temples and stages, and still retains the ancient village form centered on handicraft workshops in the embryonic period of commodity economy. Bowl kilns are built on slopes, and each kiln has eight or nine squares, hence the name Ban Kiln. Ancient craftsmen made full use of hydraulic power to build eight-level water rafts, and 46 semi-automatic production lines were used for mortar ramming. Up to now, there are still more than 300 ancient buildings in the early Qing Dynasty, surrounded by magnificent three-fold waterfalls, and the diaojiao building is more in the style of Shexiang, built along the slope, like a stone mountain city.
