Wuhua County was a land of hundreds of leaps and bounds during the Warring States Period. Heyuan County, Boluo County and Guishan County belong to Zhou Zhen; Jichang County (now xingning city) was upgraded to Jichang Prefecture; Longchuan County and Xingning County (now Wuhua County) are under the jurisdiction of Zhou Xun and administer Leigongdun. In the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it was renamed Wuhua County, named after Wuhua Mountain in China, and belonged to Chao 'an County. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), it was under the administrative supervision department of Guangdong Sixth District, and governed nine counties including Xingning, Meixian, Longchuan, Tai Po, Jiaoling, Heping, Pingyuan, Li Anping and Wuhua. Xingning County, where the administrative office is located, is the former site of Zhou Xun, so it is generally called Zhou Xun area.
