Anda City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Heilongjiang Province, managed by Suihua City, located in the hinterland of Songnen Plain in the southwest of Heilongjiang Province, with east longitude124 53'-125 55' and north latitude 46 01'-47 01'.

Anda is adjacent to five cities and counties: Cyclobalanopsis, Lanxi, Zhaodong, Zhaozhou and Lin Dian. It is located in the prime location of the Harbin-Daqing-Qiqihar Economic Belt. It is an important node city of Harbin-Dalian Industrial Corridor and one of the key development cities in Heilongjiang Province.

The geological structure of Anda City is a part of Songliao Basin, which is located in the east of the central depression period of Songliao fault depression and has been slowly declining for a long time. The landform belongs to the alluvial terrace of Songhua River and Nenjiang River.

1, Republic of China

In the second year of the Republic of China (19 13), Anda Hall was changed to Anda County.

During the puppet Manchukuo period, the border was called Anda County.

After the founding of People's Republic of China (PRC).

1960 On May 26th, the State Council decided to cancel Anda County and establish Anda City (prefecture level).

1965 On March 27th, the State Council decided to restore the organizational system of Anda County at its154th plenary meeting.
