Tongguan ancient town
Tongguan is located on the east bank of Xiangjiang River in the north of Wangcheng District, Changsha City. It has been called Tao Dou since the Tang Dynasty and has always been famous for its ceramics. As early as 1300 years ago, a large kiln field appeared in Tongguan town, which is still well preserved. This is the birthplace of the world's ceramic underglaze color, which is known as a milestone in the history of ceramics. Its products sold well in 29 countries and regions at that time. Kiln fire has never been broken for thousands of years, ranking first in the world. Innovative poetry and calligraphy are applied to porcelain decoration, integrating foreign culture and opening up the "road of marine ceramics". Products sell well in 29 countries and regions, and are the birthplace of underglaze color, and one of the five largest pottery beans in China.
Qiaokou town
Located in Wangcheng District, Changsha City, Hunan Province, at the junction of three places and four counties (Changsha, Yiyang, Yueyang, Wangcheng District, Ningxiang County, Heshan District and Xiangyin County). Administer 10 administrative villages and 1 0 community neighborhood committees. It covers an area of 45 square kilometers. The population is 3262 1, of which 2286 are non-agricultural. Liulin River, with an average width of about 400 meters, flows into Xiangjiang River from west to east from the westernmost end and northernmost end of Qiaokou Town, forming a natural and obvious administrative division boundary with Oujiangcha Town, Heshan District, Yiyang City on the west bank and Tiejiaozui Town, Xiangyin County, Yueyang City on the north bank.
Jinggang town
Located in the northwest of Wangcheng County, Changsha City, it is the place where Zeng Guofan's Xiang Army and Taiping Army fought, which has important historical significance. Jinggang town has the advantage of water transportation since ancient times, and is located on the west bank of Xiangjiang River. It used to be a prosperous commercial port for the distribution of materials in Sanxiang, and it has the reputation of "Little Hankou". But in recent decades, especially in the last 20 years, the ancient town has been gradually depressed and sparsely populated, which is likely to become a ruin. Until 2009, the renovated Jinggang ancient town reopened its streets, basically restored its original appearance and re-entered the tourists' field of vision.
