4. Since 1967, Singapore declared its independence on19 August 1965, but it still uses Malaysian dollars. 1967 June 12, the former joint "Monetary Fund Committee" stopped issuing Malay currency, and the Singapore government issued its own Singapore dollar, which has been in use ever since.
