Historical Evolution of Binhu Street
Hubin Street used to be the hometown of rivers and seas, which was formed by the impact and accumulation of sediment. Its jurisdiction is adjacent to the West Lake, which is the window section and central area of Hangzhou. Three municipal trunk roads (West Lake Avenue, Zhonghe Road and Chun Qing Road) and a West Lake divide the lakeside into rectangles, with Chun Qing Road as the boundary, Changqing Street in the lower city, Qingbo Street in the upper city, Zhonghe overpass as the boundary, and Xiaoying Street in the upper city. Hubin Street was founded in 1954 and renamed as Shangcheng People's Commune Hubin 1960, Wang Yue Road Street 1963 and Hubin Street 1964. 1999 The administrative division of Shangcheng District was adjusted, and Jinyong Street was abolished. The area south of West Lake Avenue and its jurisdiction were merged into streets, and a new lakeside street was established. The residential area under its jurisdiction was merged into 16. In 2000, the street reformed the community management system, and eight new communities were built on the basis of zoning adjustment. In July, 2003, the administrative division was adjusted again, and the communities under its jurisdiction were adjusted from 8 to 6, namely Yongjinmen Community, Qingnian Road Community, Dongping Lane Community, Wang Yue Road Community, Dongpo Road Community and Wu Shan Road Community, which all reflected the cultural characteristics of the West Lake in the lakeside area. Unique geographical location and rich historical and cultural accumulation.
