The Secret of the Palace —— The Legend of Wen Jian Emperor Zhu Yunwen
When Zhu Yuanzhang was alive, his prince Zhu Biao died. Zhu Yuanzhang did not pass the throne to other sons, but to Zhu Biao's son, his grandson Zhu Yunwen. Zhu Yunwen's real name is Wen Jian, so he is generally called his. When Zhu Yunwen succeeded to the throne, his uncle Judy rebelled and the soldiers pointed at Nanking. In June, the fourth year of the reign of Judy, the prince of Yan (1402), after four years of "Jingnan War", that is, the war to seize the throne of his nephew Zhu Yunwen, he led his troops into Nanjing Palace. Where is Zhu Yunwen? Live, not meet people; Dead, no body. This has also become a historical mystery of the Ming Palace for 600 years. What's going on here? The story begins with a mysterious box. After Judy, the prince of Yan, entered Nanjing, the first important thing was to find the whereabouts of Wen Jian. He sent troops to search everywhere and sent people to ask eunuchs, but there was no sign of him. At this time, someone found a charred body from the ashes. Judy immediately stepped forward and said loudly, "You are ignorant. As for going to a dead end?" ! "That is to say, the body is his, and he has burned to death. At that time, without DNA testing, how could we know and prove that it was the body of Emperor Wen Jian? Even "Gong Min in Ming Dynasty" is vague about this matter, and records three statements: First, it says that "the capital is trapped, the palace is on fire, and the emperor doesn't know what to do"; Second, the prince sent messengers to find the bodies of the emperor and queen in the fire and buried them eight days later; Three said "or cloud emperor died in tunnel", that is, his emperor fled in tunnel. The three statements contradict each other. So, did the 26-year-old Jianwen Emperor die in the palace fire or escape from the palace? What will he do if he escapes from the palace? What is the final destination? This mystery has not been solved until today, and there are different opinions, which is still a historical mystery. This is one of them. When Wen Jian learned about Prince Enemy at the Gates, he panicked and was at a loss. Ji Cheng, editor of the Hanlin Academy, came up with an idea: "It is better to escape from the palace. "How to escape? Wang Yue, a young supervisor, said: "Emperor Zhu Yuanzhang left a box before he died, saying that he would take it out when he was in big trouble. The box is collected in the left hall of Fengxian Hall. " Ministers said with one voice, "bring it here quickly! "Soon, Wang Shuo brought a red iron box and two locks filled with lead. Ji Cheng smashed the iron box and found three copies, namely three monk "identity cards": one for Wen Ying, one for Ying Neng and one for Ying Xian. Robes, shoes and hats, razors, and ten ingots of platinum. Emperor Wen Jian said: "This is arranged by God!" Ji Cheng immediately shaved the emperor's hair. Emperor Wen Jian holds the seal of Monk Wenying; Professor Yang should be able to shave his head voluntarily and die with it. Ye Xixian said: "My name has the word' Xian', which is undoubtedly Ying Xian. "Shave your hair, too, and keep the promise of the sage. There is also a letter written in red ink in the box, which reads: "Wen Ying goes out from the gate of hell, others go out along the water gate and meet in the west room of optimistic God at dusk." Wen Jian burst into tears, burned the palace and escaped from it. After escaping from the palace, where did you escape? The emperor originally wanted to flee to Yunnan to go to the descendants of the king. A man named Spencer said, "Visiting places of interest, east, west, north and south, are all our homes. "This means going to any safe place. From then on, Wen Jian and his party fled from place to place, fleeing from south to north. They traveled in Shan Ye Ridge in Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, rivers in Guangdong-Guangxi Gorge, jungles in western Sichuan Plateau, remote temples in Jiangsu, Taoist temples in Zhejiang wilderness and Shaanxi. They wear cassocks and carry pottery bowls, so they can't eat during the day and stay at night. His greatest enjoyment is to occasionally take refuge in his former subordinates' homes, which is better than Shi Bin's in Wujiang, Suzhou. He has been there four times. Shortly after Wen Jian escaped from the palace, Spencer's family felt both respect and fear for the first time. They received the fugitive emperor Wen Jian and his party, renamed the small courtyard where he lived as Shui Yue Guan, and the emperor Wen Jian wrote an inscription. I only stayed for a few days, but I didn't write to the counties to investigate his whereabouts. His team dispersed in a hurry and fled separately. When I went to Spencer's house for the second time, Emperor Wen Jian was in rags, black, gaunt and ugly. He stayed for three days and then left in a hurry. There was an episode in the middle. Minister of Industry Yan array directly sent messengers to Annan, only to meet his son on the mountain road in Yunnan, and the two of them cried bitterly. Emperor Wen Jian said, "Why do you treat me like this? "What will you do with me? Yan Zhen's answer: "From top to bottom, we have our own place. "Whatever, I have my own way. Later, Yan Zhenzhi committed suicide by swallowing gold. Wen Jian built a grass temple in Bailongshan, Yunnan. He was embarrassed. Shi Bin came to see him and asked, "Did you bring any local specialties? "Because Spencer is from Suzhou, Emperor Wen Jian, who grew up in Nanjing, likes the Suzhou specialties brought by Spencer very much. After eating, Emperor Wen Jian said, "I haven't eaten anything with this taste for three years! "For the third time, in the 22nd year of Yongle (1424), Emperor Wen Jian met Spencer at the hotel. Spencer told him that Judy had died in Yumuchuan, so Emperor Wen Jian was very happy and went to Spencer's house with him. The fourth time, ten years later, in May of the ninth year of Xuande (1434), Emperor Wen Jian went to Spence House again. At this time, Spencer was dead, and Wen Jian mourned for a long time before leaving. By the fifth year of orthodoxy (1440), Emperor Wen Jian had been in exile for 38 years, from a 26-year-old youth to a 64-year-old man. Emperor Yongle, the uncle who robbed him of the throne, and his son Hongxi and grandson Xuande Imperial Capital have passed away. The current emperor is Wen Jian's nephew. So he made up his mind to return to the old age palace. The news reached the palace and suggested secretly reporting it to the orthodox emperor of Ming Yingzong. The emperor sent Wu Liang, an eunuch who had served the emperor Wen Jian, to pay a secret visit. When Wen Jian saw Wu Liang, he asked, "Are you Wu Liangye? Emperor Wen Jian said, "I used to go to the toilet, you waited for dinner, and you dropped a goose on the ground. It was inconvenient for you to hold the pot in your hand, so you licked it off with your mouth. Am I right? " Wu Liang knelt on the ground and wept bitterly. Emperor Wen Jian has a mole on his left toe. Wu Liang found this mole, which further proves that this person is Wen Jian. Wu Liang cried her eyes out, retired and hanged herself. In this way, the orthodox emperor welcomed Emperor Wen Jian into the Xinei Palace (now southwest of Beihai Park). Everyone in the palace called him Lafayette, and he died of old age. The story of Ming Taizu Wen Jian who fled for 38 years under the guidance of the mysterious box left by Zhu Yuanzhang is really like a myth and legend, but it is not groundless, so it is the secret of the palace: the legend of Zhu Jianwen Moire. In short, during the twenty-two years of Emperor Yongle's reign, he has been trying his best to find the whereabouts of Emperor Wen Jian. One of his purposes in sending Zheng He to the Western Seas was to find Wen Jian. Later, Hu Ying was sent to various places, in fact, counties, townships and cities all over the world, secretly looking for Wen Jian. Hu Ying didn't return to Beijing until the 21st year of Yongle (1423). At that time, Emperor Yongle went north and Hu Meng pursued Fu Xuan (now Xuanhua, Hebei Province). Judy was asleep. When he heard that Hu Meng had arrived, he got up quickly and called him. They talked about missing four drums, and Hu Meng didn't leave until after midnight. After Judy came back from the Northern Expedition, she stopped tracking down Wen Jian. Eight months later, Judy died. In the twenty-two years of Judy's reign, he also searched for his twenty-two years. Historians say that Hu Meng probably knew the whereabouts of Zhu Yunwen, the emperor of Wen Jian, and said that he was dead, or that he would not pose a threat to Judy. Judy's persistent secret search for the whereabouts of Emperor Wen Jian also proves from the side that Emperor Wen Jian was not necessarily burned to death in the palace. Then, the original capital and palaces of the Ming Dynasty were all in Nanjing, why did they move to Beijing?
