Tencent Charity Foundation (hereinafter referred to as Tencent Foundation) was established on June 26th, 2007 with the approval of People's Republic of China (PRC) the State Council and the Ministry of Civil Affairs, registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs and headed by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. 1In June 2007, Tencent initiated and established the first national non-public offering foundation registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs on the Internet in China. As the first public welfare foundation initiated by an Internet company, Tencent Foundation is committed to promoting the deep integration of the Internet and public welfare undertakings, and promoting the development of public welfare industries through the technologies and services of the Internet, especially the mobile Internet. The original fund of Tencent Charity Foundation was 20 million yuan, which was donated by Tencent. Tencent promises to donate a certain percentage of its profits to the foundation every year.
