Changshan County is located in the west of Quzhou City. Qujiang District in the east, Jiangshan in the south, Yushan County in Jiangxi Province in the southwest, Hua Kai in the northwest and Chun 'an County in Hangzhou in the northeast. Total area 1099 km2, population of 343,500. It has jurisdiction over 6 towns, 5 townships, 3 streets, 180 administrative villages and 10 community neighborhood committees. County People's Government is located at No.29 Shengli Street, Tianma Street.

The historical evolution of Changshan County;

In the first year of the Republic of China (19 12), Changshan County belonged to Jinquyan Road, Zhejiang Province, and in the third year of the Republic of China (19 14), it belonged to Jinhua Road.

In the sixteenth year of the Republic of China (1927), the waste road system was implemented at the provincial and county levels, and Changshan County was subordinate to Zhejiang Province.

In the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), an administrative supervision area was set up between provinces and counties, and Changshan was the fifth administrative supervision area in Zhejiang Province, with its headquarters in Qu County (now Kecheng District).

In April of the 37th year of the Republic of China (1948), Changshan county was changed into the fourth administrative supervision area, and its headquarters was located in Chun 'an. In August of the same year, it was changed to the third administrative supervision area, and its office was located in Jiangshan.

In the 38th year of the Republic of China (1949), Changshan County was liberated on May 4th, and was originally the Military Management Committee of Quzhou, Zhejiang.

1950 In May, Quzhou Commissioner's Office was established, and Changshan County was subordinate to Quzhou District.

1March, 955, Quzhou District was changed to Jinhua District, and Changshan County was subordinate to Jinhua District.

1958 10, Changshan county was merged into Quxian county.

1970, Jinhua area was renamed Jinhua area, and Changshan county was subordinate to Jinhua area.

1July, 985, the city governs the county. Jinhua area is divided into Jinhua and Quzhou, and Changshan County belongs to Quzhou.
