This is not fixed, it depends on how the train is organized. Long-distance trains are mostly 16- 18 knots, and rarely exceed 19 knots, unless the trains are everywhere. Long-distance trains can hang sleepers, dining cars, hard-seat cars, postal cars, power generation cars, luggage cars, or full sleepers or hard seats as needed.
Short-distance trains have 4- 16, while intercity trains are generally grouped into as few as 4 trains and as many as 16\7 trains to meet different passenger demand. Some are all soft seats, and some are mixed.
Generally, the freight car traction quota of the first-class trunk line of China Railway is 5000 tons, which is about 50 knots.
The number of "10,000-ton trains" operated by Daqin Railway is 1 10,000 tons, with about 80 sections. Daqin uses special heavy trucks, and each load is higher than that of China Railway. The 20,000-ton combined train is also in the trial operation stage, section 160.
Due to the steep slope, the traction number of the southwest mountainous railway is low, ranging from 2000 tons to 3500 tons, with 30 knots.
