This stone tablet was built in Tianbao period of Tang Dynasty. Li was a famous traitor in the Tang Dynasty. In order to please and flatter the emperor, he ordered the establishment of this huge stone tablet.
The stone tablet is more than nine meters high, two meters wide and one meter thick, with an overall weight of more than 80 tons. The stone tablet cap alone weighs 1 1 ton.
One year, Li Longji was seriously ill. At that time, Songyang Academy was not an academy, but a Taoist temple called Songyangguan. Sun Taichong, a Taoist priest who can see a doctor and make an alchemy, sought the technique of "immortality" for Li Longji, Emperor Xuanzong of the Tang Dynasty. He made nine rounds of alchemy all day, but later he really cured Li Longji's illness in some unknown ways.
The prime minister at that time was Li, a famous traitor in later generations. He was the longest-serving prime minister of Xuanzong in the Tang Dynasty, and he sat in the position of prime minister for 19 years.
At that time, Li monopolized the power, was jealous of talent, and was centralized. It is suggested to reuse the generals of conference semifinals and prevent Shuai Shuai, who is guarding the border, from entering the DPRK as an official. Li's treacherous words brought disaster to the national law and directly led to the later Anshi rebellion.
In order to please the emperor, Li drew up the inscription "Sun Daoshi's alchemy savior", and then invited it, saying that he wanted to pray for the emperor for a giant monument within a time limit.
After the completion of the inscription in the Tang Dynasty, the pedestal was firmly placed and the tablet body was stable, but the huge tablet cap made the craftsmen feel difficult. How can we put this big guy on top of the monument?
If the time stipulated by the court and the prime minister arrives and the stone tablet has not been erected, these craftsmen and migrant workers will face the disaster of being beheaded.
Just as the craftsmen were at a loss, an old beggar in rags came to the construction site and told the craftsmen that he wanted to find a job and beg for food and water.
The craftsmen became furious when they saw his shabby appearance: if we don't erect this stone tablet quickly, we will be beheaded, and there will be no water for you to drink and no food for you to eat. Come on, come on, don't stay here and make things worse.
The old man stroked his white beard and said, I am old enough to bury my neck, and I still want to live. Not so easy to die.
Say that finish, the old man left and suddenly disappeared.
The craftsmen looked at each other, and the soil was buried to the neck? This is really a good idea!
So the craftsmen who were inspired by the old man's "burying his neck with soil" used loess to pad a soil slope around the monument, and put the monument cap of Datang Monument firmly on the top of the monument as scheduled.
The legendary white-haired old man is the embodiment of Lu Ban, the father of craftsmen.
After 1000 years of wind and rain, the Datang monument has been well preserved so far. However, because the writer of the inscription was a traitor who was reviled, although the writer of the inscription was Xu Hao, a famous calligrapher in the Tang Dynasty, he could not escape the fate of being reviled for thousands of years.
On both sides and back of the Tang Dynasty monument, several generations attacked and abused Li's poems. Although the inscription has been circulated for a long time, people have never stopped reviling and hating the traitor for thousands of years.
The Tang Dynasty stele hat was severely struck by lightning in the Ming Dynasty, and the damaged part was about 1/4 of the whole stele hat. What we see now is what it looks like after repair. Except for the hat, the whole body, forehead and base of the monument are well preserved, and the pattern is clear and beautiful so far.
This exquisite Tang tablet, which integrates calligraphy, sculpture and modeling, is presented to modern people with a brand-new attitude.
It is not only a national treasure, but also a witness to history, and it is also a wake-up call for future generations to behave correctly.
