Center: Usually the tallest player on the team. Traditionally, it emphasizes the defense under the basket and the protection of rebounds. Because of the height advantage, the center position is also the main point of shooting near the restricted area, and it is also within the three-point line, which is slightly farther from the basket than the forward.

Shooting guard: Generally, players in this position have very high requirements for physical shape, physical quality and psychological quality, and have advantages in speed and explosive power. It is also served by people with strong scoring ability in the team, mainly in front of the basket and outside the three-point line.

Point guard: the organizer of a team attack, who decides to pass the ball to the right player at the right time by controlling the ball. This position requires players to have good passing and observation. First-class point guards can often effectively jump shots and threaten opponents through outside shooting. The position is also outside the three-point line, diagonal to the basket.
