First, clean up the internal history of the operating system.
1. Clean up the history in "Operation"
The "Run" menu in the "Start" menu stores the programs we run through it and the paths and names of the open files. As shown in figure 1.
Enter the registry editor and find the branch of HKEY _ Current _ User \ Sortware \ Microsoft \ Windows \ Current Version \ Esploier \ Runmru. Select records that you don't need or want others to see and delete them.
2. Clean up the history in Search
(1), clean up the computer history.
Enter the registry editor, find the branch of HKEY _ Current _ User \ Software \ Microsoft \ Search Assistant \ ACMRU \ 5647, and select the records that you don't need or want others to see to delete.
(2) Clean up the history of finding files.
Enter the registry editor, find the branch of HKEY _ Current _ User \ Software \ Microsoft \ Search Assistant \ ACMRU \ 5603, and select records that you don't need or want others to see to delete.
3. Clear the history in my recent documents.
Right-click the taskbar to open the taskbar and start menu properties dialog box. Click Start Menu, Customize, Advanced, and then click Clean to clean up all recently accessed documents.
If you just want to delete your own records, you can go to the folder C: \ Documents NND in the resource manager to set \ AdministryError \Recent, and delete documents that you don't want others to see.
4. It is forbidden to display the name of the last login.
Enter the registry editor, find HKEY _ local _ machine \ software \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ Current Version \ WinLogin Branch, and create a new string value "DontDisplayLastUserName" and set it to "1". The last login user name will not be displayed after the restart, and it should be set to "0" when the last login user name needs to be displayed.
Step 5 clean up the "recycle bin"
Simply deleting files in windows will only transfer the files to the Recycle Bin, and you can resume viewing at any time. It is safer to hold down shift and click Delete, or right-click the Recycle Bin on the desktop, select Properties, select "All drives use the same settings" in the global tab, then check "Delete without moving files back to the Recycle Bin" below and click OK.
6, clean up the records in the shear plate
Sometimes there are too many secrets in the clipboard. If you leave directly without turning off your phone, the next person who uses the computer will just press Ctrl+V, and the information just in the clipboard will be "stolen" by others. You don't need to study how to empty the clipboard. Just copy an irrelevant content with Ctrl+C, and the original content will be overwritten.
7. Clean up the records in the temporary folder
Many applications usually save your work temporarily. Before you leave the computer, you should delete the temporary files stored in the directory C:\ (system installation disk letter) documents and settings \ administrator (currently logged in user) \Local Settings\Temp.
Second, clean up the history in the application.
(1) Historical cleaning of network applications.
1, IE browser
(1), clean up the history of visited web pages and previously visited websites.
Right-click the IE icon on the desktop, click the Clear History button in the General tab, and set the number of days that web pages are kept in the history to 0, then click Delete Cookies, Delete Files, and select Delete All Offline Content.
2. Clean up the private information entered when surfing the Internet.
In the menu bar of IE, click Tools, Internet Options, and in the personal information bar of the content tab, click Auto-Complete to open the interface named Auto-Complete Settings. Click the Clear Form button and the Clear Password button. Leave the "URL" blank, which can effectively ensure your Internet security.
(3) Clean up the color footprint left by the Internet.
In IE's menu bar, click Tools, Internet Options, click the accessibility button below in the General tab, and check "Do not use the specified Wed page color" in the format area of the pop-up dialog box. Click the "Color" button after confirmation, and check "Use Windows Color" in the color area. In the link area, use color swatches to connect links that have not been asked and visited. As shown in figure 4.
Outlook Express、Foxmail
When adding an email account, you must take the method of not remembering the password. For the received mail, you can save it to other directories on your hard disk and add password compression protection, or copy it to mobile storage media and delete it completely.
3.flashget and netants
When downloading materials with such tools, your download records will be saved in the software. All relevant information in the Downloading and Downloaded folders should be deleted, and the Deleted folder should be emptied.
(2) Clean up the history in the office application.
1, Microsoft Office
(1) Clean up the records in the File menu.
We often use Word, Exce 1 and other software of the Office family to leave "records" in the "File" menu.
Press the "Ctrl+Alt+- (minus sign)" key, and the cursor will become a coarse minus sign. After opening the File menu, click the file you want to delete with the thick minus sign.
You can also click the "Tools | Options | General" tab, select the "List all recent files" option, and enter "0" in the input box below; Or remove the "tick" in front of the "List the number of recently used files" check box, and finally click "OK". In this way, the file you edited will not be saved in the file menu.
⑵. Clean up the "attribute" information of the Office document.
The "attribute" information of office documents may also cause leaks. Right-click the document, select "Properties" and "Summary", and after clearing the contents of the "Title" column, the title information in the properties will no longer be displayed when the mouse rolls over the document. Alternatively, after opening an Office document, select File, Properties, and Summary Information, and then clear the contents of the Title column.
2. Notepad
Enter the registry editor, find the branch of HKEY _ current _ user \ software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ current version \ applet \ Wordpad \ recent file list, delete all corresponding primary key values, and then restart the computer.
(3), clean up the history of other commonly used applications
Player software, such as 1 and media player.
Take Windows Media player 10 as an example, select tools and options in the menu, and uncheck "Save files and URL history in the player" in the privacy tab.
2.Winzip and Winrar compression software
For Winzip, set the number of files in the recently used file list to 1 in Options | Settings | Miscellaneous to delete compressed documents that have been opened in the file menu.
For Winrar, just leave the option "Keep the history of archived files" blank in Options | Settings | General Miscellaneous.
