The History and Culture of Wuding Bridge and Wen Ding Bridge
Wuding Bridge was built in Xichun period of Southern Song Dynasty, and it is called "Jiarui pontoon bridge", also known as the upper pontoon bridge, which is opposite to Suzaku Bridge (the lower pontoon bridge). In the second year of Southern Song Dynasty (A.D. 126 1), Ma Guangzu rebuilt it. At the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, it was renamed Wudingqiao, which means that "literature can make the country prosperous and make the country stable". This name echoes Wende Bridge, which is often called the second bridge in Wu Wen. In the Ming Dynasty, it was adjacent to the old homes, surrounded by streets and lanes, with beautiful scenery and an endless stream of dude children, which was the downtown area of the famous ancient city. 1999 when widening the road, the bridge body was widened, and the ancient bridge still exists. Wende bridge

This bridge was originally one of the twenty-four rows of Jinling in the Six Dynasties. In the 13th year of Wanli in Ming Dynasty (1585), it was built as a wooden bridge, and in the 26th year of Wanli, it was converted from Qian Hongye to a stone bridge. The name of the bridge means "showing the world by virtue" in Confucianism. Xianfeng period in Qing Dynasty was destroyed by war, and the wooden bridge was rebuilt in Tongzhi five years (1866). 1987, changed to white marble bridge guardrail and Qingshiqiao bridge deck. Because Wende Bridge is located on the meridian, the moon approaches the meridian every November 15th of the lunar calendar, and the shadow of the bridge divides the moon in the river into two halves. At this time, people standing on the bridge can see that there are two "half moons" under the bridge, which is called "Wende divides the moon"; Standing where there is no shadow is the wonder of "taking the lead in the moon". On this day, the bridge was crowded with people, and the moon watchers often broke the bridge railing in the water, so there was another two-part allegorical saying that the railing of Wende Bridge was unreliable.

Wenyuan bridge

Huang Guanyuan, a beautiful scenery in Qinhuai District, was born in Guichi, Anhui Province, and originally lived in East 18th Street in the early Ming Dynasty. He won the first place in provincial examination, public examination and palace examination, and was called "Sanyuan Ji". After Rebecca Judy was wantonly killed, Huang Guan argued against it. His wife escaped after being captured and committed suicide by jumping into the river on the Qinhuai River at Huaiqing Bridge. After hearing the news, Huang Guan threw himself into the river in the direction of Jinling in Guichi. Later, in memory of Huang Guan, the Huanggong Temple was built in his former residence. A wooden bridge was built here, named Huanggong Bridge. In the 20th year of the Republic of China (193 1), it was rebuilt and repaired many times. After liberation, it was renamed "Egret Bridge" because it can go directly to Egret Island from Confucius Temple. 1986 renovated the bridge, and in the eighth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1869), a stone tablet named "The Biography of Huang Wenzhen" was found on the bridge, which confirmed that the ancient name of the bridge was indeed "Huanggong Bridge". During the period of 1997, some scholars suggested that the north bank of the bridge is an important place for Confucianism and imperial examination culture, and the name of the bridge should echo the "Wende Bridge", so it was renamed as "Wenyuan Bridge".

Zheng Wen bridge

This bridge is 20 meters to the west and was built in the third year of Qing Shunzhi (1646). In the second year of Kangxi (1663), the wooden bridge was converted into a stone bridge. During the Republic of China, the Lishe Bridge was seriously damaged and demolished, and the pier still existed. In the 16th year of the Republic of China (1927), a railway bridge was built on the east side of overseas Chinese in Lishe. 1958, the railway running through the urban area was demolished, and this railway bridge was changed into a footbridge, named Zheng Wen Bridge, which means "Confucian connotation of Confucius Temple, orthodox and authentic imperial examination in Jinling culture".
